After the match, Virat Kohli – who had registered back-to-back ducks in the previous two matches – was involved in a post match interview and spoke about how he bounced back from his last 2 outings

Almost 37 (years old) in the next few days, but chasing always brings the best out of me. Nice to have a big match-winning partnership (with Rohit). Fortunately, the ducks (in the previous matches) have gone off the pond. It is good to be out of the pond. It’s so challenging when things aren’t going your way. Situations in the middle get the best out of me. Tonight, it was one of those situation,” Kohli said.

Following this ODI series in Australia, the Indian team will play some home One-Day Internationals against South Africa and then series against New Zealand in next few months.
