Virat Kohli’s brother slams BCCI for ‘Removing’ him from Tests! Says “You try to Boss Around…”

Virat Kohli's brother Vikas Kohli slammed the BCCI and the Indian team management for the steep decline in the Test performance of the team.

Indian team faced a second home Test series whitewash in 12 months, after which Virat Kohli’s brother- Vikas- slammed head coach Gautam Gambhir and the selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar. He blamed the management for the steep decline of the team in a format where they once dominated. Though the post was later deleted, it was during the Day 4 of the Guwahati Test.

Between December 2013 and October 2024, India did not lost a single Test series at home- a time which is greatly hailed as one of the greatest outing in the history of Test cricket. That time the team was under the leadership of Virat Kohli before he passed the role in early 2022 to Rohit Sharma.

Taking on to Instagram’s Threads, Vikas pointed out the contrast between those time, where the Indian team was once aiming to conquer overseas conditions and now struggling to win at home. He then took a cryptic dig towards the Board of Control for Cricket n India (BCCI), stating the decline to be a result of their “unnecessary” changes to the side.
