Virender Sehawg’s Elder son bags Jackpot in DPL Auction! Younger son goes Unsold
Aaryavir Sehwag- the elder son of Virender Sehawg hit jackpot in Delhi Premier League 2025 auctions, as he was taken by Central Delhi Kings for Rs. 8 lakh. On the other hand Vedant Sehwag- his younge son went unsold.
Former Indian top-order batter and cricketing great Virender Sehwag's elder Son Aaryavir Sehwag had luck on his side by a huge amount as he bagged jackpot in the auctions of the Delhi Premier League (DPL).On the other hand, his younger son Vedant Sehwag was not so lucky as he went unsold in the event.
Vedant's name was the first one among the two which came up, and he went unsold. Couple minutes later, Aryavir's name was called. There was a strong bidding war for the opening batter. Eventually Aryavir joined Central Delhi Kings for a huge amount of Rs. 8 lakh. It is worth noting that both of them have played junior cricket for Delhi.
On the other hand, Simarjeet Singh came out as the most expensive pick of the DPL 2025 auction and joined Central Delhi Kings for Rs. 39 lakh. The right-arm pacer had played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
