‘We smile in freedom…’: Virat Kohli posted Heartfelt tribute to Indian Armed forces on Independence day

On the occasion of Independence Day, Virat Kohli posted a heartfelt tribute, paying his respect to the Indian Armed forces.

As he went on to his Instagram account, Virat Kohli posted an Instagram story, which read, “Today, we smile in freedom because many stood with unwavering courage. We salute and honor the sacrifices of our heroes on this joyous Independence Day. Proud to be Indian. Jai Hind.”
Virat Kohli had retired from T20I cricket following India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. Following his retirement from the 20-over format, Kohli also retired from the Test format ahead of the India vs England Test series.
