Anshul Kamboj made his India debut at Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday. After Akash Deep and Arshdeep Singh were ruled out of the series due to injuries, the 24-year-old Kamboj was added to the squad. Sai Sudharsan, Shardul Thakur, and Anshul Kamboj were brought in to replace Karun Nair, Nitish Reddy, and Akash Deep as they were ruled out because of injuries

Liam Dawson will return to Test cricket after eight years away, as England’s only change at Emirates Old Trafford for the fourth Test against India. Dawson replaces Shoaib Bashir, who suffered a broken finger on his left hand during the first innings of last week’s Lord’s Test but returned boldly to take the final wicket and give England a 2-1 lead. To ensure proper healing, a wire was inserted into his left pinkie finger during surgery.
