Why did Joe Root get into a heated spat with Prasidh Krishna? Pacer revealed what happened

This incident happened during the 22nd over of England’s innings. Joe Root hit a boundary, and was then seen saying something to Prasidh Krishna. The argument then quickly converted into a heated exchange and the umpire had to come in and stop the players.

Prasidh Krishna revealed that he had told Joe Root about how he is in a great form, for which he seemingly got angry. Right after that comment, Root slammed a boundary off Krishna’s ball and then said something to him as well. The situation intensified and Kumar Dharmasena (umpire) came in to stop both of them.

Prasidh Krishna said that the Indian team had pre-decided that they will try and distract Joe Root, but he did not expect Root to have such a strong reaction.
