Jasprit Bumrah has been facing a constant issue regarding his workload management ever since Indian Test team toured Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Bumrah had to leave the field during Day 2 of the Sydney test, and it was later revealed that he was facing back spasms.

Throughout the year 2025, Jasprit Bumrah's workload has been managed in such a way that it would not put him under pressure, especially in the Test format. In the England tour for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, Bumrah only featured in three of the five Test matches.

Now, with the Asia Cup around the corner, talks about Jasprit Bumrah and his workload have once again become the talk of the town. However, former Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar believes that there is no issue related to Bumrah's workload since the tournament is going to be held in 20-over format.

"In this Asia Cup, it is just a question of bowling four overs and that too it is not four overs at a stretch...So I don't think there will be any problem for him to play this tournament," Gavaskar said during an interaction.
