Kane Williamson

New Zealand's very own 'Captain Cool' is always a key player for the Kiwis when it comes to any format. Apart from being the No. 1 Test Player in the world, he has been the highest run getter for New Zealand in the World Test Championships(817) with three centuries to his name including a 251 against the Windies. So right from the word go, the captain is expected to lead the team from the front.

Tim Southee

Tim Southee

Tim Southee has been the pick of the bowlers for Kiwis so far in the Championship. Picking up 51 wickets in 10 matches he stands 5th among the top wicket-takers in the two- year tournament. He has picked up three fifers in the tournament which is the joint second-highest fifer so far. Considered to be Virat Kohli's nemesis, he'll be once again be looking to haunt the Indian skipper with his deadly in-swingers.

Trent Boult

Trent Boult

The best bowler in the ODI format has formed a dangerous duo with Tim Southee and no wonder they have been successful. Boult has scalped 34 wickets so far in 9 matches with a best bowling figure of 6/117 in a single match. He has two fifers against the Indians out of which he helped his side to dismantle them for 92 in ODIs and a 5 wicket-haul in Tests. He also has a career best of 4-34 against them in T20s as well. Another nemesis on the cards.

Kyle Jamieson
4/5

Kyle Jamieson

Be it in the shorter format or the longest format, Jamieson loves to bowl against India. Standing at 6'8", the Kiwi pacer was adjudged the Man of the Match in his ODI debut against the Indians. In the Test Series whitewash, he picked up 9 wickets in two matches. He has so far picked up 36 wickets in just 6 matches with a best bowling figure of 11/117 in a single match. He and Axar Patel are the only two bowlers in the tournament who have picked 11 wickets in a single match. Along with the obvious duo, India needs to be wary of this giant as well.

Tom Latham
5/5

Tom Latham

New Zealand's second highest run-getter in the Championship with 680 runs in 11 matches with just a century to his name which came against the Lankan Lions. He has a decent average of 40 and his services will be very important when handling the spinners as he is more comfortable playing them. He has an ODI century against the Indians back in 2017, where he scored an unbeaten 103* to take his side over the finishing line.
