Lewis at mid-wicket just picks the ball and lobs it back to Holder who takes the bails off. There was never a run. Afghanistan lose two in quick time.

S Gabriel to R Shah, OUT! That is the third one down for Afghanistan. The short ball plan has worked. Gabriel bowls it on the body of the batsman who looks to pull but gets a top edge and is caught by Jason Mohammed at square leg. The batsman waits and looks around but the umpire gives him out. Shah is not happy with the decision as he feels it had not taken an edge but he has to go. Afghanistan are in deep trouble here. They need to build a partnership to steady the ship.

Another one landed in the area of the bowler, rises steeply, Nabi fends at it feebly and can only spoon it in the air. Roston Chase jogs in a few steps from square leg and takes a comfortable catch. 6 down now and we have not even completed 20 overs. Afghanistan will do very well to reach a competitive score from here.

R Chase to A Zazai, OUT! The bowling change works wonders. Chase gets his first ODI wicket. Tosses it on off, the batsman comes down the track and goes to poke at it but gets an outside edge to first slip. Ashley Nurse takes a simple catch. Chase got good purchase from the deck there. He breaks the partnership between the two batsmen. Afghanistan have lost their 7th wicket with not a lot on the board.

A Nurse to G Naib, OUT! Departs immediately after getting to his half century. Nurse tosses this up outside off and Naib looks to go over long off. Does not middle it at all and finds Alzarri Joseph at widish long off. AFGHANISTAN HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT FOR 135!

J Holder to R Khan, OUT! Gone next ball. Holder persists with his short ball strategy, lands this around off and Rashid goes for the pull. He gets a top edge and the keeper takes it but Rashid cunningly shadow-practises his pull shot. Now Holder appeals and Rashid has to go after the umpire raises his finger. Full and outside off, Dawlat cannot control himself and goes for the big slog. He hits this high in the air but it is a pretty long boundary on the leg side. Evin Lewis keeps his eyes on the ball at the mid-wicket fence, runs to his left and then takes a superb diving catch. He hurts himself and grimaces in pain as Kieran Powell comes across from long on to congratulate him.

R Khan to E Lewis, OUT! LBW! Gone this time. Comes from around the wicket, bowls it flatter and in line of the stumps. Lewis goes back to defend when he should have been forward and misses it. Is pinged right in front of the stumps and the umpire has no issues in raising his finger.

R Khan to K Powell, OUT! RASHID KHAN STRIKES! He has been brought in for that and he strikes in his first over. Bowls a googly on middle. Powell pokes at it and it spins, taking his outside edge. It deflects of the keeper's glove and Nabi at first slip takes a very good catch at head height. They get a wicket immediately after the break. Rashid Khan is pumped.

G Naib to J Carter, OUT! Caught behind! Naib gets his man this time. Excellent piece of bowling. Naib comes around the wicket and bowls a short ball outside off. Carter thinks he can cut but then the ball comes back in a long way. He is cramped for room but cannot bail out of the shot. There is some noise as the ball goes through to the keeper and the Afghans appeal. Up goes the umpire's finger. Carter is disappointed but he has to go. That hit the glove, as per the replays. Hmmm... the match is getting interesting now. The hosts have lost 3 quick wickets.

G Naib to J Mohammed, OUT! Naib did it with the bat and now he is doing it with the ball. Mohammed has to depart. Short ball outside off, Mohammed cuts it straight to Shenwari at point who takes a good catch. West Indies lose their fourth. They are in big trouble.

M Nabi to R Powell, OUT! Powell picks out the only man who was placed deep on the leg side. Nabi tosses it up, Powell goes for the biggie but he is hitting towards the longer part of the ground. Powell only gets height and not the elevation and holes out to Shah at deep mid-wicket. They get a wicket, but is it too late?
