Nathan Lyon and David Warner have shared the Player of the Series award. As Lyon spoke earlier, David Warner now gets the chance to talk. He says he adopted the grafting approach from his former teammate, Chris Rogers. Informs that it took him around 15 Tests to figure out what works for him best. Says that he hadn't had much success in these conditions and there were some doubts in his mind. Ends by saying that it feels nice to play some good cricket and draw the series.

The hosts were way below par in their second innings too. Once again the top order collapsed and then there wasn't much fight shown. Chasing a paltry target, Australia did lose three wickets but were never in any kind of real danger. Peter Handscomb and Glenn Maxwell did the finishing job and the tourists achieved a comprehensive win.

Bangladesh won a vital toss but failed to capitalize. They lost their top half in no time and it required the century partnership between Rahim and Sabbir to get them to a respectable total on the board. In reply, David Warner scored one of his finest hundreds in Test cricket and his partnerships with Steven Smith and Peter Handscomb provided Australia a handy first innings lead.

Outstanding victory for Australia. They were under the pump after losing the first Test against a lower ranked team but bounced back superbly. Switching back to cricket! The hosts after suffering early blows yesterday, bounced back courtesy the partnership between Rahman and Rahim. They find themselves in a good position, although they still will hope to get past the 300-run mark to gain the psychological advantage. The visitors on the other hand, will try and bundle their opposition out as quickly as possible. A lot will depend on Nathan Lyon as he was their best bowler yesterday. Nathan Lyon was the hero for the visitors. He started off the day superbly and then came back to break the vital century stand as well. With that, he completed his fifer as well. Ashton Agar was the only one to pick another. Pat Cummins looked threatening early on but then lost his steam as the day progressed. Steve O'Keefe and Hilton Cartwright were very ordinary today. The Kangaroos will now look to come afresh tomorrow and bowl out the home side in a hurry. The hosts on the other hand will want the current pair to keeping piling up runs. Bangladesh will be happier of the two sides heading into the dressing room. The aggression of Sabbir Rahman mixed with the caution of Mushfiqur Rahim, has helped the hosts to get the momentum. Both went on to score their respective fifties and stitched a 105-run stand for the 6th wicket. Rahman then lost his balance and wicket as well. However, his wicket didn't do much damage as the skipper found an able partner in Nasir Hossain. Both these batsmen then scored boundaries at regular intervals and are amidst a healthy partnership.

Bangladesh were in a similar situation in the first Test match as well and the experience of Tamim and Shakib bailed them out. This time they will be relying on their middle order to do the job. Terrific session for Australia after losing the toss! All the three top order batsmen for Bangladesh were trapped in front by Nathan Lyon who bowled splendidly with the new cherry. Pat Cummins also breathed fire in his two spells but wasn't successful in picking any wicket (Tamim was dropped by Maxwell off his bowling). The other two spin bowlers, O'Keefe and Agar also supported well and were at the batsmen every ball. The pitch has not offered too much turn but the lines from the Australian spinners have been immaculate.

Nathan Lyon to Soumya Sarkar, out, OUT! LBW! Lyon strikes at the stroke of lunch! He is pumped up and the Australians will be the happier of the two teams going into the break. Not exactly the slider, but it was delivered at a good pace, around 95.6 kph. It landed around middle and leg and Sarkar played forward for the turn. However, the ball went past his inside edge, clipped the front pad and then hit his back pad. The Aussies appealed and up went Nigel Llong's finger. Sarkar and Mominul contemplated a lot with but eventually decided against the review. The former wanted a second opinion but Mominul was defiant and sent him on his way. Hawk Eye shows the ball to be skidding on and clipping the leg stump. Had the review been taken by Sarkar, he would have still been out because the umpire's call would have stayed. Yet another spin test awaits the Aussies! After surrendering rather meekly towards the end of the first Test match, the visitors will be hurt. Bangladesh's bowlers were much better in the last session. Mustafizur Rahman mixed up lines and lengths nicely while Mehedi Hasan got rewards for his probing lines. Their fielding though was very ordinary. They would be ruing their lost chances as Australia kept stretching their lead, which is 72 currently.

Bangla Tigers have pounced on the Kangaroos in the final session of the day. Australia managed to score just 56 runs in the 23 overs they faced in this session and lost 4 wickets as well. Matthew Wade and Glenn Maxwell's overcautious approach worked against them. They both got out in quick succession. A good session of Test cricket. 96/3 in the 31 overs bowled. The play in the morning was completely washed out. Once it started after the lunch break, the Australian pair of Handscomb and Warner looked in fine touch again. However, the run out of the former gave the hosts a sniff. David Warner went on to score his century and along with Glenn Maxwell was building a good partnership when Mustafizur Rahman removed him. A brief resistance was provided by Hilton Cartwright but he played a poor shot to gift his wicket away just before the tea break.

The visitors are in a respectable position thanks to an unbeaten 127-run stand between Handscomb and Warner. Their presence in the middle could well prove to be the difference between the sides. The tourists would hope they keep on piling up runs and gain a big lead.

A wicketless session for Bangladesh has turned the match in Australia's favour. An unbeaten 126-run stand between Handscomb and Warner has seen the visitors cut the deficit down to 80. The former fought his way through and is unbeaten on 69 whereas the latter had his share of luck and is 12 runs short of what would be a brilliant hundred. The away side have momentum on their side and they will now try and bat the home side out of the game.
