Australia
Shaheen Afridi to Alex Carey, OUT! CHOPPED ON! A perfect start for the home side but the worst possible one for Australia. Shaheen bowls this full and wide of off, shaping away from the batter. Alex Carey has a slash at it without moving his feet and gets an inside edge. The ball gets chopped back onto the stumps and the bails get dislodged. Alex Carey departs for a golden duck and the slowness of the deck is on show already.
Abrar Ahmed to Matthew Short, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! The slowness of the deck has assisted the home side for the second time inside 8 overs. Short and in line with the stumps, spinning away from the batter. Matthew Short goes deep inside the crease and was looking to flick this through mid-wicket, but the ball stopped on the batter, and catches Short high on his bat around the sticker, before lobbing straight back to the bowler. Abrar Ahmed pouches it with ease. Australia are 46 for 2 now.
Arafat Minhas to Josh Inglis, OUT! BOWLED'EM! Arafat Minhas picks up his second wicket and breaks the sturdy 51-run partnership. He comes around the wicket and bowls a touch fuller, on off. The ball skids through after pitching on the track and attacks the off stump. Josh Inglis rocks on his back foot to punch it away, but plays all over it as it goes past the inside edge and rattles the stump. Josh Inglis has to depart after scoring a half-century.
Arafat Minhas to Marnus Labuschagne, OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust and Arafat Minhas gets his first wicket of the game. Nicely tossed up, a bit full and outside off. Marnus Labuschagne looks to release pressure and gets down to sweep. But he tries to reach for it as the ball turns away from him. The ball takes the top edge and lobs towards leg slip. Salman Agha at first slip, runs after it and gobbles it up. Australia are 51/3, and in a spot of bother.
Abrar Ahmed to Cameron Green, OUT! CAUGHT! A huge wicket at this stage of the innings, and Abrar Ahmed gives a staring send-off to Cameron Green as well. This is tossed up, on off and slightly short. Green rocks back to pull but snatches at it and gets it high on the bat. The ball gets clubbed down to long on, where Sahibzada Farhan comes in a bit and takes a safe catch. End of a fighting knock from Green, and Australia are 167/5.
Haris Rauf to Matt Renshaw, OUT! TIMBER! Rauf answers right back. Right in the channel, on off, Matt Renshaw opens his bat face and looks to run this down the third man region but misses out, and the ball swings back in and sneaks past his bat and rattles the timber. Matt Renshaw departs for run-a-ball 43.
Haris Rauf to Oliver Peake, OUT! TIMBER! Haris Rauf ends proceedings with a wicket, and Australia finish with 231/9 on the board. Rauf keeps going for the full and fast one and gets it spot-on this time. Bowled at around 147 clicks, full, not quite yorker length but right at the stumps. Oliver Peake makes room to open up the off side but is beaten for raw pace, and the ball smashes into the stumps. End of a nifty knock from Peake and 16 runs come off the final over.
Shaheen Afridi to Matthew Kuhnemann, OUT! BOWLED'EM! This was very much on the cards. Shaheen Afridi keeps the length fairly full and shapes the ball back in towards the stumps. Matthew Kuhnemann backs away yet again and has a wild swipe across the line, missing the ball completely and the ball then smashes into the stumps. Kuhnemann's job was to get Peake on strike, but he's just swung for the fences and got himself out.
Shaheen Afridi to Nathan Ellis, OUT! CAUGHT! High, high, but not long enough. Shaheen Afridi rolls his fingers over the ball and bowls it into the pitch. Nathan Ellis backs away and leans back to swing it leg side but gets it high on the bat. The ball sails down to wide long on, where Arafat Minhas settles under it and takes a good catch.

Pakistan
Matthew Kuhnemann to Sahibzada Farhan, OUT! CAUGHT! What a take from Adam Zampa and Pakistan lose both their openers in just the first 8 legal deliveries. Just a floater from Matthew Kuhnemann, full and drifting down leg. Sahibzada Farhan sits down to help it around the corner but gets a top edge towards short fine leg. Zampa over there leaps up and takes it wonderfully over his head with both hands. Pakistan are 6/2 now.
Nathan Ellis to Maaz Sadaqat, OUT! PLAYED ON! That seemed to take place in slow motion, and Australia too get a wicket in the very first over. Nathan Ellis bowls the slower one, at 111.1 kph, and angles it across off on a back of a length. Maaz Sadaqat has a tentative poke at it and gets an inside edge onto the deck. He tries to see where the ball is going and it just lands on top of the bails, which fall off and Sadaqat is in disbelief.
Nathan Ellis to Babar Azam, OUT! LBW! The umpire had a long think about it, and eventually, he raised his finger. A very close call, but it does stand and Babar Azam has to walk back, amidst the disappointment of the crowd. Slower one from Nathan Ellis, a bit full and outside off. The off-cutter grips and cuts back in sharply. Babar Azam is late to get his front leg out and play at it and gets beaten past the inside edge, getting struck on the pads. There's an appeal and up goes the finger, but Babar reviews it. Initially, it did seem like an inside edge and that's what Babar indicated as well, but replays show that there's no bat involved. Ball Tracking shows the impact as umpire's call and wickets as hitting and Azam has to walk back.
Adam Zampa to Ghazi Ghori, OUT! TIMBER! Adam Zampa bowls it a lot slower through the air, drifts this into the batter and this one skids as well after pitching. Ghazi Ghori plays for the spin but the ball goes straight past the gate between bat and pads. The ball rattles the timber and the break does the trick for Australia as Ghazi Ghori departs and Pakistan are 78 for 6 now.
Matthew Short to Salman Agha, OUT! TIMBER! That's a brute of a delivery, and Pakistan are in tatters at 44/4. Matthew Short delivers this one quicker at 95.4 clicks, a bit fuller and just outside off. It is the natural variation, the one that drifts in but doesn't turn. Salman Agha plays for the spin and looks to block down the line, but the ball straightens, beats the outside edge and smashes into the off pole. Australia are well in control now.
Matthew Short to Abdul Samad, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Pakistan, despite scoring at a healthy rate are in shambles as half of their side is already back in the dressing room. Quicker offie, around middle and off, turning into the batter, Abdul Samad stands tall and looks to work this through square leg but closes his bat face early and lobs this straight off the outside edge towards Matthew Short. Pakistan are 58 for 5.
Nathan Ellis to Arafat Minhas, OUT! LBW! A massive moment in the contest as Nathan Ellis breaks this threatening partnership. Back of a length, around off, Arafat Minhas looks to cut this off his back foot, but it's too close to cut. Minhas gets hit on his back pad, and a gentle appeal is all that the umpire needed to raise his finger here. Arafat Minhas sends this upstairs. UltraEdge shows that it is clearly pad first and Ball Tracker shows three reds with the ball thumping into the off-pole. On-field decision of OUT stays. Pakistan still need 95 runs to win.
Matthew Short to Shaheen Afridi, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The change to bring Matthew Short into the attack has worked wonders for Australia, but the danger man is still out there. A touch fuller, pitching it just outside off, angling in, but turns it away. Shaheen Afridi stays on his back foot and tries to cut it away, but the ball just kisses the outside edge, and the rest of the work is done by Josh Inglis, behind the stumps. Pakistan are eight down and need 64 off 78 balls.
Nathan Ellis to Haris Rauf, OUT! TIMBER! Nathan Ellis gets Australia within touching distance and picks up a four-fer as well. Slower ball, after slower ball, but now Ellis goes pace on. This is bowled relatively full and on off. Haris Rauf gets pegged onto the back foot and tries to fend it away but the ball nips back in, beats the bat and castles into the stump. Rauf goes for a 15-ball duck, and Pakistan still need 43 to win with just one wicket in hand.
