Gunathilaka was struggling to read Mehedi Hasan today and has paid the price for it.

The ball goes through the gap between his bat and pad to hit the timber. That was well set up by Taskin as he kept bowling short to push Tharanga back and then bowled it a touch fuller targeting the stumps. A wicket earned by the bowler. The umpire asks Tharanga to wait as they check for the no ball but the replays show that the landing was fine there and the Sri Lankan skipper has to walk back. Timely strike for Bangladesh.

Another one which is slanted around off, Mendis looks to run it down but this time he is not as lucky as he was on the previous two occasions. He gets an outside edge which carries to the keeper Rahim who takes it easily. The difference this time was that it was bowled a lot quicker. End of a fine knock by Kusal Mendis but he was beginning to get tired and it seemed like the heat was getting to him, so the hosts might not mind the wicket.

Al Hasan to D Chandimal, OUT! What has happened here? Silly this from Chandimal, schoolboy cricket really. Shakib tosses this outside off, Chandimal drives it towards covers and starts running. It looks like an easy two. Taskin Ahmed from the deep hurls a throw to Rahim who flicks the bails off and appeals. Chandimal looks to have just plonked his bat getting into his crease. The umpire has referred it upstairs. Now to the replays, it looks like a tricky one. While Chandimal was inside the crease he had failed to drag his bat and even his feet were in the air. The third umpire looks at the replays for quite a while before concluding that Dinesh Chandimal is indeed out. The Bangladeshis cannot believe their luck and they are celebrating. Dinesh Chandimal should be very upset with his effort there.

Shuvagata Hom, the substitute stationed there, gets to the ball and fires it at the striker's end. Siriwardana is sent back and he lunges to get back into his crease. Rahim takes the bails off behind him and appeals. The umpire refers it upstairs but the Bangladesh fielders are celebrating already. Replays show why - the throw was a wide one but Rahim did extremely well to get it onto the stumps in a flash. Siriwardana is way short of his crease and has to depart.

The Bangladeshi skipper is elated but Asela is livid with himself for not executing the shot right. He didn't even cross as Thisara was looking to get to the other end.

A poor shot from Sabbir really, he could have left that ball alone. He should be very upset with that shot.

The players appeal and the umpire rules it out. Rahim comes over to have a chat with Sarkar, he does not look sure yet goes for the review. Replays show that it has pitched around off, the impact is also in line. It is shown to be clipping the top of the middle stump and hence the umpire's call remains! Huge wicket this for the visitors.
