Zimbabwe won by 335 runs | Zimbabwe Vs Bangladesh 1st Test match

    • The second Test match begins on Wednesday and it will be tough for Bangaldesh to bounce back from such a huge loss. They need to sort out their problems in the next four days and return on a positive note. Meanwhile, the hosts will be looking forward to win the next one too and capture a series victory. Join us for live action of the second Test on April 26...

    • Taylor is the Man of the Match for his 2 tons in this match.

    • Taylor: We showed a lot of character after coming back from a disastrous tour of West Indies. I am very happy with the win. Our seamers showed lot of character and bowled their heart out. We did well to bowl them out cheaply twice. Jarvis and Cremer bowled well today and we will like to take this momemtum into the second Test. I am pleased with the way I played, the crowds also supported us well. All credit must go to the Bangladeshi seamers as they bowled well to keep us on our toes.

    • Rahim: We are disappointed to lose after winning the toss. The wicket was good to bowl on, but we dropped too many catches and didn't bat well also. We need to go back and sort out our techniques and come back strongly for the second Test.

    • Massive win for Zimbabwe here, by 335 runs. Everything went their way after the lunch break yesterday, when Bangladesh imploded by losing 9 wickets for 39 and were bundled out for 134 in the process. Zimbabwe had a huge lead at their disposal and once again Taylor, who became only the 3rd Zimbabwean player to hit 2 tons in a match, played well to give Bangladesh a record 4th innings total to chase. In their second essay, Bangladeshi batsmen once again got out to poor shots and in the end could manage only 147. Jarvis bowled his heart out to claim 3 wickets, while Cremer did his bit with the ball and took 4 wickets to complete a convincing win. Stay tuned for the presentation....

It's all over, but what a terrific catch to finish off the match, tossed up delivery on the stumps, Islam gets down to sweep and hits it in the air towards deep square leg, he had connected it well and the ball went at a good pace to Jarvis, who initially mis-judged it, but recovers well and times his jump to perfection to take a good overhead catch. • Robiul Islam, right handed bat, comes to the crease

    • 3 wickets for Graeme Cremer. Graeme Cremer is on a roll. 49.1Graeme Cremer to Rubel Hossain. out Caught by Shingirai!! Rubel Hossain c Shingirai b Cremer 4(13)

    • End of over 49 ( Runs )BAN 146/8 48.6Kyle Jarvis to Enamul Haque jnr. no run, length delivery outside off and shaping away, Enamul goes for an expansive drive and misses it
