Temba Bavumab Adil Rashid 49 24 4 3 204.17
8.1
A Rashid to T Bavuma, OUT! Bowled! Bavuma misses out on his debut fifty by just a run. As they say, one brings two and this is what has happened here. Bavuma follows his skipper and opening partner de Kock in the hut. Excellent comeback from England. It is a slider from Rashid. It is also bowled very quickly. Bavuma looks to drive it on the on side but gets beaten for the pace and the ball goes right between his bat and pad onto the stumps.
Quinton de Kock (C) (W)c Jonny Bairstow b Ben Stokes 35 24 1 4 145.83
7.4
Ben Stokes to de Kock, OUT! Caught! De Kock holes out! The slower one does the trick for the tourists and it is Ben Stokes who has got the prized scalp of the South African skipper. Stokes bowls an off-pace delivery on off, de Kock gets down on one knee and looks to loft it over mid-wicket. The ball though comes slower than he anticipated and he ends up hitting it straight to the man at deep mid-wicket. Bairstow takes a simple catch and England have the wicket they were desperately craving for.
Rassie van der Dussenc Tom Curran b Ben Stokes 11 9 1 0 122.22
11.2
Ben Stokes to van der Dussen, OUT! Caught! Rassie holes out. Stokes bangs it short and the ball comes quicker. Van der Dussen looks to pull but mistimes it and ends up hitting it to the man at deep mid-wicket. Tom Curran stationed there comes in front and takes a simple catch. England have done really well to put the brakes on South African scoring by taking wickets here. All three top order batsmen are back in the hut for South Africa and the crowd have gone a lot more silent here.
Heinrich Klaasenc Ben Stokes b Tom Curran 66 33 4 4 200
16.3
Tom Curran to H Klaasen, OUT! Caught! Big wicket for England and this wicket might just be the difference between South Africa reaching 205 and 220! A superb innings from Klaasen has come to an end. He had a few questions to answer when he was named in the playing XI and he has done that excellently with the bat. Credit to Curran as well, he has been excellent with the ball in hand. Full on off, Tom takes the pace off it. Heinrich is early in his loft and he ends up lobbing it towards mid off. Stokes there moves behind a bit and takes a simple catch.
David Millernot out 35 20 3 2 175
Dwaine Pretoriusc Jos Buttler b Tom Curran 11 7 2 0 157.14
18.4
Tom Curran to D Pretorius, OUT! Caught! Curran gets another one. He has the last laugh. Subdued celebration from the Englishman. Cross-seam delivery outside off. It is a bit short, Pretorius looks to go over on the off side but ends up getting a thick outside edge straight into the mitts of Buttler. Second wicket for Curran and without a doubt he has been the best bowler today.
Andile Phehlukwayoc Ben Stokes b Mark Wood 1 3 0 0 33.33
19.2
M Wood to A Phehlukwayo, OUT! Caught! Brilliant catch from Stokes and Wood has something to cheer about. Tremendous catch from the star English all-rounder. Slower ball outside off, Phehlukwayo makes room and looks to go over covers. Stokes runs to his right in the deep and takes an outstanding catch over his head, just before the ropes.

Jason Royc Tabraiz Shamsi b Lungi Ngidi 7 4 0 1 175
1.2
L Ngidi to J Roy, OUT! Caught! Shamsi has taken a blinder here and Ngidi has the last laugh on Roy. Disastrous start for England but the home fans are loving it. Good length ball around off, Roy looks to pull but gets a top edge on it. It goes high and is falling ahead of third man. Shamsi at third man comes in and loses the ball in the air for a moment but Tabraiz manages to regather himself and takes a very good catch inches above the turf. South Africa draw first blood very early in the innings.
Jos Buttler (W)c Tabraiz Shamsi b Dwaine Pretorius 57 29 9 2 196.55
9.3
D Pretorius to Jos Buttler, OUT! Caught! Big wicket for South Africa as Buttler was going very good. Pretorius is a happy man. Buttler's innovation does not work this time and the 91-run stand is broken. Fuller outside off, Buttler looks to scoop it over the keeper's head but the ball bounces a little extra and he ends up playing it high in the air. Tabraiz Shamsi comes running from third man and takes his second catch of the game. This could be the wicket that brings down the run rate. The crowd has found its voice once again.
Jonny Bairstowb Andile Phehlukwayo 64 34 7 3 188.24
12.3
A Phehlukwayo to J Bairstow, OUT! Bowled! The bowling change does the trick and Bairstow's wonderful innings comes to an end. Could this be the game changing wicket? Off-pace delivery on a length on middle. It is on top of middle, Bairstow looks to pull but misses it completely and the ball hits the stumps. Phehlukwayo is up in joy and so are all the South African supporters. A very good hand from Jonny comes to an end.
Dawid Malanc Quinton de Kock b Tabraiz Shamsi 11 12 1 0 91.67
13.4
T Shamsi to D Malan, OUT! Caught behind! Brilliant catch from de Kock. Shamsi has made a champion comeback here. He has been very expensive before this but he is pulling things back and now has a wicket as well. Short and turning away once again, Malan does not give up on the cut and goes for it again. The ball does not bounce and it takes the under edge of Dawid's willow. Quinton de Kock behind the stumps does extremely well to take the catch. South Africa slowly getting on top of this game here. 78 more needed.

L Ngidi to Ben Stokes, OUT! Caught! Don't go anywhere because this match is not over yet. Ngidi is pulling it back for his side here. Length ball on off and middle, Stokes drags it over square leg. Substitute, Beuran Hendricks in the deep jumps and takes a very good catch. We are in for a nail-biting finish again. 17 needed off 11!
