Hobart opened their account, while Kolkata made it two wins in two matches. Cheers for your company and comments. Do join us back tomorrow ehen Chennai clash with the Dolphins. Until then, take care and adios!
Narine: 'I tried to pick up wickets and keep it tight. Today was a good effort. I was mainly looking to keep down the run-rate as batsmen go for runs in the powerplay. I am just practicing and doing the basic right. I am just trying to build on the momentum. He (Kuldeep) is a very good bowler. He is someone to look out for. We need to get a good start, we just have to build on it and keep the momentum going.'
Narine is the Man of the Match for his incredible spell of 3-9.
Gambhir: 'It is very important for the openers to set up the platform. I am very happy for Robin too. This is the kind of wicket where you never know what is a good total. We just hit the ball well, I have struck a good partnership with Robin. I don't want to be too critical of the team. We will have to improve. I think we have won 11 in a row, which in itself is a good achievement. We have a great bunch of guys, who are motivated. I can assure you one thing, there are a lot of young individuals waiting to prove themselves.'
Hafeez: 'We got the target we wanted - 150 - The fielding was not up to the mark. We will have to work on it in the next games. Still it was a good show by the team. Shehzad was magnificent the way he started the innings. Sunil Narine bowled well. It is a good chance for the youngsters to learn playing on the big stage. As a captain, I am happy with the performance. We need to raise our fielding standards The potential is there, talent is there. We just have to take our chances.'
It is also the first time since March 2012 that Lahore have failed to defend a total. The fireworks blaze away in Hyderabad. The middle-order made heavy weather of the target, but Surya finished things off amid some pressure. Uthappa and Gauti set up the game with a brilliant opening stand worth 100. Lahore then roared back into contention, causing Kolkata to lose 6 wickets for 47 runs. Eventually, Surya saw his team home. The spin trio did well and so did the quick bowlers. The mishaps on the field though came back to haunt Lahore.

5 runs from 6 balls reads the equation. Raza to bowl the final over.

18.2Wahab Riaz to Ryan ten Doeschate. 2 runs, change of pace on middle and leg, ten Doeschate manoeuvres it behind square leg. The misfield helps Kolkata's cause as well
