Gus Atkinson to Shubman Gill, OUT! TAKEN! Atkinson provides the first breakthrough for England. Gill tried to pierce that cover gap for a number of times, but couldn't. He is absolutely livid as he trudges off after a fantastic start. This is pitched fuller and outside the off stump line. Shubman Gill presses in front to play the cover drive, but cannot keep it along the ground and hits it flatly towards Ben Duckett stationed at cover. It leaves the bat at a rate of knots but Duckett maintains his cool and grabs it by diving to his right over his right shoulder with a reverse cup. India are 44/1 after 7.4 overs.

Jofra Archer to Virat Kohli, OUT! GONE! No doubt about this one. Jofra Archer answers the skipper's call by getting rid of the big fish. Angled in, on a back of a length, on middle and leg. Kohli tries to shovel it away with the angle but the ball is not quite short enough for the shot. A top edge is found and it goes straight down the throat of deep third, where Adil Rashid takes the catch at waist height.

Sam Curran to Ishan Kishan, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Curran outfoxes Kishan and picks up his first wicket. He bangs in another short ball, angling into the batter's body. Ishan Kishan shapes up for the pull shot but he is too early into the shot and toe-ends it back towards the bowler. Curran moves to the left on his follow-through and takes a simple catch. A short stay for Ishan and from 104/1, India have slipped down to 111/3.

Gus Atkinson to Shreyas Iyer, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! A crucial wicket at a crucial time for England. Atkinson bowls in the channel on a good length, straightening off the pitch. Shreyas Iyer is squared up as he looks to work it away on the off side by opening the bat face. Gets a feather of the outside edge behind to the keeper. Jos Buttler takes a simple catch, and up goes the finger on a polite appeal. Shreyas falls after a fighting knock, and India are 233/9, with 6.3 overs left.

Saqib Mahmood to Washington Sundar, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The short ball does the trick for Saqib Mahmood. A well-directed bumper over the right shoulder. Sundar is hampered by the hamstring issue, and as a result, he is less mobile than usual. He stays rooted to the crease and gets his hands high for the pull, but the ball gets big on him and lobs behind off the gloves. Jos Buttler moves to his right and does the rest.

Jofra Archer to Axar Patel, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Axar falls cheaply this time, and England continue to pick wickets regularly. A well-directed short ball by Archer, around the off stump line. Axar leans back and tries to play the ramp shot over the keeper, but gets it feathered behind to Jos Buttler, who is not dropping those straightforward chances. India slip further down as they are 193/6, and in a lot of bother now with Iyer stranded at the other end.

Jofra Archer to Shivam Dube, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Archer is tearing through the India middle order. It is going downhill rather quickly for the Indians now. Fuller from Jofra, in line with the stumps. Shivam Dube looks to lift it over the bowler. Perhaps he was anticipating a short ball and is pinned in the crease. But it is chipped off the toe end of the bat, to the right of the bowler. Archer is very alert as he bends low on his follow-through, gets both hands to his right and plucks the ball nicely. A soft dismissal for Dube, who comes and goes. India are 193/7.

Saqib Mahmood to Gurnoor Brar, OUT! CAUGHT! Gurnoor Brar runs out of patience and gives his wicket away. Mahmood opts against the short ball and goes fuller in length, outside off. Brar clears the front leg and swings at it. The bat turns in his hand and slices it off the outer half. It goes straight down the throat of deep point, where Gus Atkinson gobbles it up. Wicket number 2 for Saqib Mahmood. 

Gus Atkinson to Prasidh Krishna, OUT! BOWLED! Atkinson wraps it up with a three-for. INDIA ARE BOWLED OUT ON 233! And it's the seamers of England who have done all the damage, breaking India's batting spine. Atkinson keeps it simple. Bowls it in line with the stumps, on a fractionally fuller length, angled in. Prasidh Krishna clears the front leg and swings at it to go up and over mid-wicket, but fails to connect and hears the sound of the ball crashing into the timber. India will be hugely disappointed with the way things unfolded after such a positive start. 

Jasprit Bumrah to Ben Duckett, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Bumrah delivers a gem of a ball, and India have their first breakthrough. Jasprit lands it on a good length, around the off stump and gets it to angle away off the pitch. Ben Duckett loosely dangles the bat away from his body without moving his feet at all. Gets a faint outside edge, and Ishan Kishan makes no mistake. He grabs it a bit to his left. A golden duck for Duckett and England are 0/1, chasing 234.

Prasidh Krishna to Jacob Bethell, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The variable bounce proves too hot to handle for Bethell. Krishna slams the deck hard from around the stump. It is a length ball that springs up from the surface, around off. Jacob Bethell stays back and pokes at it tamely. Can only manage to get an outside edge behind. Ishan Kishan takes a straightforward catch. India are up and about. England are in a spot of bother early doors, losing both their openers, with just 8 runs on the board.

Gurnoor Brar to Harry Brook, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! An ambitious attempt by Harry Brook and it goes awry for him. Brar bends his back and digs it in short, outside off. Brook walks all the way towards the off side to use the pace and play the scoop. The ball takes off and keeps climbing onto the batter. It deflects off the gloves and goes behind, where Ishan Kishan moves to his left and leaps to snaffle it. Brook lands flat on his back and ends up in a bit of a heap on the turf. England are 53/3, chasing 234.

Shivam Dube to Sam Curran, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Shivam Dube breaks through for India. Going across the off stump from over the wicket, on a nagging length. Curran pokes at the ball away from his body. The ball leaves him with the angle to graze the outside edge. A sharp grab by Ishan Kishan whilst standing up to the stumps. The 41-run stand has been broken. England are 4 down for 94, needing 140 runs in 185 balls.

Axar Patel to Jos Buttler, OUT! CASTLED! Buttler cannot resist the urge to take on the spinner and pays the price for it. Axar dishes out a full ball and keeps it stump-to-stump, with a bit of an in-drift on it. Buttler clears the front leg to smoke it downtown, but plays all around it and gets beaten on the inside edge. The ball sneaks through the yawning gap between bat and pad to rattle the stumps behind. Buttler will be hugely disappointed with the shot selection as he trudges off. England are 125/5, needing 109 more runs.

Gurnoor Brar to Will Jacks, OUT! CAUGHT! The short ball does the trick for Gurnoor Brar. Into the wicket, on middle. Jacks anticipates the short ball and backs away towards the leg side. He tries to slam it through the off side with a horizontal bat. He fails to get any timing on the shot and spoons it straight to cover, where Virat Kohli does the rest.
