England
Axar Patel to Phil Salt, OUT! CAUGHT! Phil Salt tries to repeat the dose but it does not come off for him this time. Axar slows it down and bowls it fuller and wider on off. Salt puts his head down and has a swing at it. It is sliced off the outer half to backward point, where Arshdeep Singh takes a dolly. End of a fine knock by Salt.
Prince Yadav to Jos Buttler, OUT! CASTLED! A corker of a yorker from Prince Yadav. Not a lot Jos Buttler could have done about that. Prince steams in from over the wicket and nails the yorker at the toes. It tails back in as Jos tries to get his bat down hurriedly. He is beaten on the inside edge, and the ball deflects off his boot onto the leg stump. End of a 43-run opening stand.
Prince Yadav to Harry Brook, OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Prince Yadav strikes right back. A bit more effort behind this ball by Prince, on a shortish length, on middle. Brook does not quite go for the pull, but it is more a swipe across the line. There is a bit of lift off the deck and Brook only gets the height and not the distance. Abhishek Sharma settles under the skier at deep mid-wicket, and even though the ball pops out of his grasp a bit, he clings onto it close to his chest while falling on his back.
Harshit Rana to Jacob Bethell, OUT! CAUGHT! Nelson strikes for England and India have a big breakthrough. Harshit Rana stays full, bowling it in and around off. Jacob Bethell lunges to the off side and looks to whack it away but mistimes it high in the air. The ball lobs over the mid-wicket region, where Vaibhav Sooryavanshi comes in from the deep and pouches it safely. England are 111/3.
Harshit Rana to Tom Banton, OUT! CAUGHT! Two in two for Harshit Rana and he's ecstatic. This is banged in short and outside off, Tom Banton rises with the bounce and ramps it high down to deep third. There's not much distance on it and Varun Chakaravarthy gobbles up the simple chance. What a momentum-shifting over from Rana, 7 runs and 2 wickets off it. Harshit will be on a hat trick at the start of his next over.
Arshdeep Singh to Will Jacks, OUT! WILL JACKS IS RUN OUT! Arshdeep attempts the yorker but it comes out as a low full toss, on middle and leg. Jacks swings at it and gets it away in front of square on the leg side. Will is a bit indecisive but eventually commits to the second run and that hesitation leads to his downfall. Axar Patel swoops in, picks the ball up with his left hand and fires in a throw at the batting end. Ishan Kishan collects it on the bounce before breaking the stumps. The third umpire is called into action. The replays find Jacks to be short despite his attempt to stretch out and slide his bat in.
Arshdeep Singh to Sam Curran, OUT! JOFRA ARCHER IS RUN OUT! They had to go for the second to keep Sam Curran on strike. A bit of tail on this yorker from Arshdeep, on middle. Curran digs it out in front of long on and attempts the second run. Shreyas Iyer charges in off the ropes and throws it on the bounce at the bowling end. Arshdeep collects the ball and breaks the stumps to catch Archer short of his ground. England are 7 down for 199 with one legal ball left in the innings.

Josh Tongue to Abhishek Sharma, OUT! CAUGHT! Josh Tongue gets his radar right and strikes. Cross-seam ball, bowled into the surface, outside off. Abhishek hangs back and swings to go big on the off side. There is a bit of lift off the deck and Sharma ends up slicing it down to deep backward point, where Phil Salt runs in and takes an easy catch. India are 23/1, chasing 202.
Jofra Archer to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Jofra Archer gets one over his IPL teammate. Archer digs it in short, around the right shoulder. Sooryavanshi tries to get inside the line and use the pace to hook it over long leg. The ball grazes a bit of the glove on the way through, and Jos Buttler gobbles it up with a small jump to his right. India have now lost both their openers.
Josh Tongue to Ishan Kishan, OUT! TAKEN! Ishan Kishan has picked out the fielder in the deep to near perfection. India's top three back in the hut in four overs. Tongue bangs it into the deck, on off. Ishan climbs into pull but fails to get it wide enough of the deep square leg fielder. Jacob Bethell moves to his right and snaffles it.
Jofra Archer to Shreyas Iyer, OUT! CAUGHT! The sheepish smile on the face of Jofra Archer tells the story. This was there to be put away, but Shreyas Iyer has picked out the fielder. Full and sliding onto the pads. Iyer has no intention of keeping it on the ground as he plays the pick-up shot off the pads. Jacob Bethell moves to his right at deep backward square leg and gets on his knees to pouch it safely. India are now 41/4, needing 161 runs in 95 balls.
Jofra Archer to Axar Patel, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Jofra Archer has the last laugh. He ends the over just the way he started. In the channel on off, on a short of a length. Axar throws his hands at the ball, but it is not wide enough for the cut. The ball takes the outside edge, and Jos Buttler makes no mistake. Wicket number 3 for Archer. 3 wickets in 7 balls for England. India are now 52/5.
Will Jacks to Tilak Varma, OUT! STUMPED! Oh, Jos Buttler nearly fumbled it big time, but he gets away with it. A lovely bit of drift on offer for Will Jacks as he flights it up on a length and around off. Tilak Varma skips down the pitch, looking to go over extra cover but the ball holds its line and goes past the inside edge. Buttler is a bit too eager to dislodge the bails, but replays show that Buttler did still have the ball in contact with his gloves when the bails came off, and Varma is a long way out of his crease. India are 60/6 in a chase of 202.
Josh Tongue to Harshit Rana, OUT! CAUGHT! That is a sensational catch from Tom Banton, and Josh Tongue has a four-fer. Tongue hammers it in on a hard length, at around 142 kph and pushes it outside off. Harshit Rana backs away and laces the cut but hits it uppishly. Banton at backward point, springs to his left and snaffles it with both hands. India are 70/9, and England are just one wicket away from victory.
Josh Tongue to Shivam Dube, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! That should be the final nail in the coffin, and Abhishek Sharma's face in the dug-out says it all. Josh Tongue steams in and hits the shortish length at 143 kph, over the middle stump and gets it to skid through. Shivam Dube hangs back, gets cramped for room and just looks to angle the pull behind square leg. He ends up getting an under edge through to the keeper, and Jos Buttler makes no mistake. India are now 63/7.
Adil Rashid to Arshdeep Singh, OUT! CAUGHT! Gone this time. Adil Rashid tosses this one up, bowled from the front of the hand. Arshdeep Singh sits down to sweep again but miscues it badly. The ball lobs up around silly mid off and the keeper Jos Buttler calls for it early, and then jogs after it, pouching it safely. Number 8 down for India.
Adil Rashid to Varun Chakaravarthy, OUT! TIMBER! Done and dusted, England have handed India a real hammering, winning the game by 125 runs. Adil Rashid pushes this one through a bit quicker and fuller on middle, pushing Varun Chakaravarthy onto the back foot. Chakaravarthy looks to flick but plays all around the traditional leg break delivery and the ball beats the outside edge to smash into the stumps.
