Lucknow
Corbin Bosch to Mitchell Marsh, OUT! TAKEN EASILY! Bosch proving to be the point of difference as he dismisses both the set batters in the same over. Corbin slams the deck really hard, on a good length, around the off and middle stumps. Mitchell Marsh is a bit rushed on the pull shot and mistimes it off the inner half. Hits it flat and straight into the hands of Naman Dhir stationed at deep mid-wicket. Lucknow Super Giants are 125/3 in 8.5 overs.
AM Ghazanfar to Josh Inglis, OUT! CAUGHT! AM Ghazanfar delivers in the Powerplay once again for Mumbai Indians, and Josh Inglis' LSG debut is short-lived. Ghazanfar goes a tad short again, but bowls it quicker and fires it into middle and leg. Inglis rocks back, but this time he tries to force the lofted shot over mid on and gets it completely wrong. The ball goes a few yards beyond the mid on region, where Suryakumar Yadav just jogs back and takes a simple catch. LSG are 29/1.
Corbin Bosch to Nicholas Pooran, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Bosch ends Pooran's fun and breaks the 94-run partnership. Short of a good length, on the leg stump line, climbs up a bit as well. Nicholas Pooran waits back and tries to play the pull shot, but it is a bit too close to the body to execute that shot and he ends up gloving it behind to the keeper. Ryan Rickelton takes a simple catch to his right. Some sort of relief for MI and Lucknow Super Giants are 123/2.
Will Jacks to Rishabh Pant, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Struggle continues for Pant in this IPL. He is absolutely fuming at himself. Darted on a length, and wide outside the off stump. Rishabh Pant takes the bait to play the late cut off the back foot, but only manages to nick it behind. Ryan Rickelton takes a sharp catch a bit to his left. LSG are 148/4 in 10.4 overs.
Raghu Sharma to Akshat Raghuwanshi, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Oh, that's a bit unlucky, but a soft dismissal nonetheless for the debutant. Raghu Sharma tosses the ball up on the pads. Akshat Raghuwanshi comes down the pitch and then looks to just work it leg side but doesn't quite get his bat out in front of the pads. The ball takes the inside edge and lobs off the pads. Raghu moves to his right and takes a simple catch, bringing up his maiden IPL wicket.

Mohsin Khan to Ryan Rickelton, OUT! TAKEN! Mohsin Khan brings some relief for LSG, breaking the mammoth 143-run opening stand. Pitched up and just outside off, pace on. Ryan Rickelton extends his arms and looks to smash it over extra cover, but just fails to get the elevation. Hits it flat and straight to extra cover, where Josh Inglis takes a good catch near his chest. Rickelton walks off to a massive applause from the crowd.
Manimaran Siddharth to Rohit Sharma, OUT! CAUGHT! Is that the start of the comeback for LSG? Manimaran Siddharth pushes this one through quicker at 100.5 kph, shortish and on middle. Rohit Sharma goes down and across to paddle it but the extra bounce takes the outer half of the bat. It flies behind short fine, where Mohammad Shami takes a couple of steps backward and takes a fine catch. Mumbai Indians are 177/2, needing 52 more runs from 36 balls.
Manimaran Siddharth to Tilak Varma, OUT! STRAIGHT UP AND GONE! Tilak Varma's scratchy knock is put to a painful end. LSG still believe. Floated up, full and just outside off. Tilak Varma decides to launch it over long off by getting crouched. But he fails to get under the ball and airs it off the toe end. Aiden Markram stays cool and calm at the edge of the ropes and takes a well-judged catch. Mumbai Indians are 189/3, needing 40 runs from 27 balls.
Mohammad Shami to Suryakumar, OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! SKY falls after yet another start. Shami strikes, but it is a bit too late for the Super Giants it seems. Full from Shami, on middle and leg. Suryakumar Yadav attempts to whip that over deep mid-wicket, but fails to get the timing and distance. The ball goes high in the air and straight into the safe hands of Nicholas Pooran stationed a few yards in off the ropes at deep mid-wicket. Mumbai Indians are 213/4, needing 16 runs.
