Gujarat beat Delhi by 1 run | Delhi Vs Gujarat Live Cricket Score, Match 14
19.6Prasidh Krishna to David Miller. out, OUT! run out (Jos Buttler).
It is all happening here. Gujarat are celebrating here, with Kuldeep Yadav being run out. However, David Miller has taken the review for a wide over head height. If it is, we will have another ball, or else it's a 1-run win for the Titans.
That is a brave call! It could have been 1 off 1, but it seems like Miller does not trust Kuldeep Yadav that much. Still, all three results are possible here.
19.5Prasidh Krishna to David Miller. no run, Oh, wow! What a surprising decision. David Miller could have and probably should have levelled the scores here but he denies the single. Slower short ball, angled at the batter, Miller swivels back and pulls it down through square leg. The batters start running, but Miller sends Kuldeep back. 2 needed off 1 ball now.
19.4Prasidh Krishna to David Miller. SIX, SIX! 'If it's in the V, it's in the tree.' Krishna serves another one in the slot, just outside off, and with pace on as well. David Miller sets base deep in the crease and just powers through the line of the ball, whacking it up and away over long off for a biggie. Just 2 needed now off 2 balls. Super Over, anyone?
19.3Prasidh Krishna to Kuldeep Yadav. 1 run, Back of a length and in the channel outside off, Kuldeep Yadav runs it down to deep third and picks up a single. 8 needed now off 3 balls.
The slowing down tactics have worked for the Gujarat. Kuldeep Yadav comes out to the middle now. His job is to get Miller back on strike.
19.2Prasidh Krishna to Vipraj Nigam. out, OUT! CAUGHT! Vipraj Nigam tries to force the lofted shot away but that's well bowled and GT are right back in it. Prasidh Krishna brings out the slower bumper and gets it around shoulder height and just outside off. Nigam backs away and tries to go over covers, as there's no one out in the deep but ends up getting more height than distance. Shubman Gill at covers, backtracks and takes a safe catch. 9 needed off 4 balls.
Shubman Gill gets around to his bowler again, and the Gujarat are trying to slow the game down here.
200 runs for DC 19.1Prasidh Krishna to Vipraj Nigam. FOUR, FOUR! The Capitals are in a hurry now. Still, 9 needed off 5 balls. Full on off, right in the slot with mid off inside the circle. Vipraj Nigam stays deep in the crease and smashes it over extra cover for a boundary.
Last over coming up now. Have to say Delhi are in the driver's seat, but all three results are still possible. To make matters worse for the Gujarat, they have been penalised for slow over rate and will have to keep an extra fielder inside the circle. Prasidh Krishna has been handed the ball to try and defend the runs.
18.6Mohammed Siraj to Vipraj Nigam. 1 run, A juicy full toss, angled into the batter. Nigam backs away and ends up flicking it down to deep backward square leg for a run. 13 needed now off 6 deliveries.
18.5Mohammed Siraj to Vipraj Nigam. FOUR, FOUR! That is so nicely done by Nigam, 22 off the over with one ball to go. All the momentum with DC at the moment. Slower bumper, over off stump, Nigam waits well and puts his bat up, ramping it straight over the keeper's head. There is a fine third man in place but he can't reach it.
18.4Mohammed Siraj to David Miller. 1 run, Short of a length, over middle, pulled down to deep mid-wicket for a run.
Time for a conference. Shubman Gill has gone up to Mohammed Siraj now, but the look on their faces tells they are the ones under pressure now.
30 runs for David Miller 18.3Mohammed Siraj to David Miller. SIX, SIX! In the arc, and out of the park. Miller doesn't even look at the ball after hitting it. Full and straight from Siraj, right in the slot. Miller puts the head down and hits through the line, high and mighty over long on for a biggie. 19 needed now off 9 balls.
18.2Mohammed Siraj to David Miller. FOUR, FOUR! Miller is putting the pressure back on Siraj. Too full and too wide outside off, Miller uses those long levers to reach out and slaps it flat over extra cover for a boundary. It almost hits the cushions on the full, but the smart replays confirm it has just bounced before.
18.1Mohammed Siraj to David Miller. SIX, SIX! The game is still alive! Banged in short and outside off, Siraj doesn't get it short enough. David Miller picks up the slower ball and nails the pull handsomely in front of mid-wicket for a biggie. 29 needed now off 11 balls.
18.1Mohammed Siraj to David Miller. wide, 1 run, WIDE! Siraj tries to go wide outside off, away from the hitting arc but gets it a bit too wide.
17.6Kagiso Rabada to David Miller. 1 run, A loud cry of anguish from Miller as he fails to get it away. A skiddy bumper, right at the batter. Miller gets a bit low and angles the pull down to fine leg for a single. 36 needed off 12 balls.
17.5Kagiso Rabada to David Miller. FOUR, FOUR! The Capitals will want a lot more of those from Miller right now. Slow and short but wide outside off, Miller extends his arms and powers it in front of covers for a boundary.
17.4Kagiso Rabada to Vipraj Nigam. 1 run, Slower one, into the pitch and around off, Nigam pulls it down to long on for a single.
17.3Kagiso Rabada to Vipraj Nigam. no run, Dot balls are golden at this stage. Dug in a bit shorter and outside off, Nigam walks across to the off side and tries to scoop but is beaten.
17.2Kagiso Rabada to Vipraj Nigam. 2 runs, In no man's land! Pitched up fuller and around off, Vipraj Nigam hangs back and throws his hands at it, slicing the ball up and over the point region for a couple of runs.
17.1Kagiso Rabada to David Miller. 1 run, Banged in short and at the batter, swung away to deep square leg for just a single.
Things shift massively in favour of the Titans. Vipraj Nigam walks out to bat now.
16.6Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. out, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Mohammed Siraj might have just done the job here for GT. The pacer goes back to bowling full and wide outside off and gets this one spot-on as he gets it to curve away a bit as well. KL Rahul goes reaching for it but can only manage to get an outside edge. The ball flies behind and Jos Buttler takes a good catch to his right. Rahul is distraught with himself and that marks the end of a stellar knock, a knock that in the end, might not be enough for DC.
16.5Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. FOUR, FOUR! Rahul gets this one away and moves into the 90s. A yorker gone wrong from Siraj as this is served in the slot and around off. Rahul walks inside the line and heaves it wide of long on for a boundary.
16.5Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. wide, 1 run, WIDE! Full and wide outside off, sprayed beyond the tramline once again for another extra run.
16.5Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. wide, 1 run, WIDE! Fullish length, pushed wide outside the off stump and Rahul leaves it alone.
Will David Miller come back now? Yes, he will.
5 wickets down for DC. Out batsman is Tristan Stubbs 16.4Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. out, OUT! TRISTAN STUBBS IS RUN OUT! Another moment in the game, and this could be a big one. Mohammed Siraj goes into the pitch again and digs the ball in halfway down the pitch. KL Rahul reaches up and forces the ball down to mid on as the batters set off for the single. KL quickly realizes that he has hit it straight to Sai Sudharsan, and he immediately backtracks, leaving Tristan Stubbs halfway down the pitch. Sai picks up the ball and hits the bullseye at the bowler's end. Stubbs puts in a desperate dive but can't make it back in time. DC lose their 5th wicket.
16.3Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. no run, Too cute from Rahul. KL premeditates and looks for the reverse lap, but Siraj cleverly brings out the slower bumper, bowling it outside off. Rahul is undone by the lack of pace and it will be a dot ball. 51 needed off 21 deliveries.
16.2Mohammed Siraj to Tristan Stubbs. 1 run, That's a certain boundary saved. Full and wide, drilled back past the bowler. Rashid Khan at mid off flings himself and dives to his right, getting a big hand on it. Just a single.
16.1Mohammed Siraj to Kl Rahul. 1 run, A low full toss, wide outside off, KL Rahul reaches for it and slashes it off the toe end of the blade towards deep point for a single.
Will Kagiso Rabada bowl out now? No, Mohammed Siraj replaces him.
15.6Ashok Sharma to Tristan Stubbs. no run, Slower delivery, a tad fuller and just outside off. Stubbs looks to wait back and cut but fails to do so. 53 needed now off 24 balls.
15.5Ashok Sharma to Kl Rahul. 1 run, A high full toss, on middle, KL Rahul gets surprised but manages to tuck it through mid-wicket for a run. Rahul has a chat with Stubbs and takes the review to see whether the ball is above his waist or not. The replay shows that it is well below the waist, and the Ball Tracking confirms it as well. A very poor review!
15.4Ashok Sharma to Kl Rahul. FOUR, FOUR! Oh, a valiant effort, but again, was it necessary? Length ball over middle, KL Rahul stays back and swats it away flat through mid on. Sai Sudharsan charges in from the deep and puts in a big dive, but gets nowhere near the ball, which lands, hits his wrists and goes for a boundary.
150 runs for DC 15.3Ashok Sharma to Tristan Stubbs. 5 runs, BUZZERS! A bit unnecessary from the GT skipper. A yorker at the stumps, around 150 kph. Tristan Stubbs digs it out into the turf. The ball bounces up and the bowler gets a fingertip on it. The batters go for the single and Shubman Gill from covers picks up the ball and scores a direct hit at the keeper's end with Rahul well in. The ball deflects away after hitting the stumps and rolls away into the fine leg fence for four extra runs.
15.2Ashok Sharma to Kl Rahul. 1 run, Back of a length, outside off, KL Rahul stays back and punches it down to covers for a quick single.
15.2Ashok Sharma to Kl Rahul. wide, 1 run, WIDE! Sharma goes wide outside the off stump now, but sprays the ball beyond the tramline.
15.1Ashok Sharma to Kl Rahul. FOUR, FOUR! Just the start DC would have wanted after the break. Sharma goes for the slower ball right away but serves it short and down leg, Rahul picks it up and pulls the ball towards the vacant backward square leg fence for a boundary.
STRATEGIC BREAK! Gujarat seem to be ahead in the game now and a lot rides on the shoulders of KL Rahul if Delhi are to get over the line in this mammoth run chase. Remember, GT scored just 49 runs in their last 5 overs, while DC currently need 69 more to win in the final 5 overs. Still, a couple of big overs and suddenly it can become a close call but GT will know that a wicket or two here will really put them in the driver's seat. Let's see how the game pans out. Also, Ashok Sharma to bowl after the break.
14.6Kagiso Rabada to Tristan Stubbs. no run, Hard length again, angling into the batter. Tristan Stubbs fails to flick it away and the ball hits him high on the pads, going nowhere. 69 needed in 30 balls!
14.5Kagiso Rabada to Tristan Stubbs. no run, Hits the length hard and around off, pace on and skids through. Tristan Stubbs has a heave across but misses.
14.4Kagiso Rabada to Kl Rahul. 1 run, Bangs this into the pitch, on middle, gives no pace again. KL Rahul pulls it on the bounce and to the right of deep mid-wicket for one.
14.3Kagiso Rabada to Tristan Stubbs. 1 run, Touch fuller and on middle, Tristan Stubbs works it to long on for a run.
14.2Kagiso Rabada to Kl Rahul. 1 run, Short of a length and on middle, takes pace off, KL Rahul pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a single.
14.1Kagiso Rabada to Kl Rahul. FOUR, FOUR! KL-assy shot! Fuller in length and on middle, serves this right in the slot. KL Rahul gets underneath it and pumps it over the bowler's head for a boundary.
14.1Kagiso Rabada to Kl Rahul. wide, 1 run, WIDE! Fuller one but down the leg side, KL Rahul fails to glance it away. Wided.
Last ball of Rashid's spell and Axar will feel, he could have curtailed his inhibitions and see him off. Doesn't matter now, and Tristan Stubbs walks out to bat.
3 wickets for Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan is on a roll. 13.6Rashid Khan to Axar Patel. out, OUT! TAKEN! Rashid Khan strikes again with his last ball of the spell. Axar Patel could have just played Rashid out here and paid the price for trying to take him on. This is a googly, full and on off, turns away a bit. Axar goes for the big slog across the line but fails to read the wrong 'un. His bat turns in his hands as well and he mistimes it over extra cover. Glenn Phillips runs backwards and dives to take a superb catch. KL Rahul has a look of disappointment at the other end. DC are 134/4 now, chasing 211 runs.
13.5Rashid Khan to Kl Rahul. 1 run, Quicker one, full and on leg, KL Rahul tucks it through mid-wicket for one.

13.1Rashid Khan to Axar Patel. 1 run, No hat-trick! Flighted, full and on middle, Axar Patel drills it to long on for a single.
Uh, oh! Not a good sign for the Capitals as David Miller is now being Retired Hurt as he grimaces in pain. Axar Patel walks in as the new batter, and Rashid Khan is back in to finish his spell.
Ouch! David Miller is looking in some discomfort and is unable to continue. A blow to the batting team as David Miller is retired hurt.
12.6Prasidh Krishna to Kl Rahul. FOUR, FOUR! Picks his spot nicely! Fuller again and just outside off. KL Rahul extends his arms to get under it and smacks it over extra covers for a boundary. 81 needed in 42 balls now.

Miller picks up the length early, stands tall and muscles it to the deep mid-wicket fence for a boundary. He may have just jarred his left hand and shakes it, looking in a bit of pain.
12.1Prasidh Krishna to Kl Rahul. 1 run, Low full toss, tailing in, KL Rahul flicks it to deep square leg for a single.
It seems like David Miller is having an issue with the left thumb. He might have injured himself again while diving in the previous over. In the first innings, Miller dove onto one of the practice pitches and seemed to have hurt his hand. The physio is having a look. Everything seems fine now and Prasidh Krishna is also back into the attack.

11.5Ashok Sharma to David Miller. wide, 1 run, WIDE! Ashok Sharma gets the slower one completely wrong, bangs it way outside off, almost over the strip. David Miller lets it go. The umpires check whether it is a No Ball or Wide, but are happy with the Wide call.
11.4Ashok Sharma to Kl Rahul. 1 run, Pace off, on a length and on leg, KL Rahul works it through mid-wicket for a run.
11.3Ashok Sharma to David Miller. 1 run, Risky run! Back of a length and on middle, pace on. 10.1Washington Sundar to Kl Rahul. SIX, SIX! Going, going, gone! Tossed up, full and around middle. KL Rahul skips down the track to get closer to the pitch of it. He swings through the line and launches it high and handsomely over the long on fence for a biggie.
The crowd has suddenly gone silent here. They cannot believe what has happened in the last two balls, but the Gujarat are overjoyed. That brings David Miller out to the middle. Also, Washington Sundar to bowl now.
3 wickets down for DC. Out batsman is Sameer Rizvi 9.6Rashid Khan to Sameer Rizvi. out, OUT! BOWLED 'EM! Rashid Khan at his very best here! The Afghan goes quicker and fuller, landing the googly perfectly just outside the off stump. Sameer Rizvi looks to start cautiously and tries to put forward a front-foot defence but the ball lands and turns and zips between bat and pad to knock over the off stump. The Impact Sub goes for a golden duck and Rizvi's run of excellent form has come to a halt here. 110 needed off 60 balls.
Nitish Rana once again fails to make an impact. It's time for the hero from the last two games, Sameer Rizvi, to come in as the Impact Sub. He replaces Mukesh Kumar.
Mukesh Kumar is substituted by Sameer Rizvi
9.5Rashid Khan to Nitish Rana. out, OUT! CAUGHT! Rashid Khan does get the better of Nitish Rana and has the last laugh here. A bit of a cold stare from Rashid as Rana walks back past him, adding fuel to the fire and the game is on. Khan bowls it a touch fuller and outside off, but flatter too. Rana stays put and just throws his hands at it, skewing it badly over mid off. Sai Sudharsan comes charging in from the deep and puts on the afterburners to reach the ball with a dive. Sai holds on to a very tough chance and GT have their second wicket.
100 runs for DC 9.4Rashid Khan to Nitish Rana. FOUR, FOUR! Rashid Khan puts his hands up as he knows he shouldn't have done that. Bowled from well behind the popping crease and bowled well short around off, Nitish Rana rocks back and pulls it flat and hard towards deep mid-wicket for a boundary.
9.3Rashid Khan to Nitish Rana. no run, Lands it around leg stump, it is the googly, Rana looks to flick but plays all around it and wears it on the pads.
9.2Rashid Khan to Nitish Rana. no run, Shout for LBW and up goes the finger! Rashid Khan strikes now and Nitish Rana's lean patch continues in this IPL. This is flatter, full and around middle. Rana switches his stance and goes for the reverse sweep, but it looks like he misses, and the ball thuds on the front pad. There is a shout for LBW, and the finger goes up. However, Rana takes the review right away. The replay shows that the ball is close to the bat, and then may have brushed the gloves as well. UltraEdge comes up and shows a spike when the ball is close to the bat. No need to go further, and the on-field call is changed to NOT OUT. Fine review from Rana.

Strategic Break! 40/0 in 5 has turned into 63/0 in a flash, and Delhi will be feeling a lot better at the end of the Powerplay. Pathum Nissanka has been superb, hitting it to all areas in the field, making it difficult for the bowlers to stick to one length. KL Rahul is playing the supporting role, as he often does. The openers have set up the platform for this big chase, but these two will be hoping to extend this as much as possible. A lot to think about for Shubman Gill and Co in this break, getting in with different plans as they are desperately in need of wickets here. Prasidh Krishna has been called upon to do that job.
