Temba Bavuma the skipper of South Africa says that it was a clinical performance. Adds that Dutch got to a good start but they always remained calm and waited for the mistakes and when the opportunity arises they grabbed it with both hands. Praises Tabraiz Shamsi for his performance and says that he is a match-winner and always try to give his best for the team. Mentions that in recent times he is enjoying his cricket and things falling into place and the team also gets a lot of confidence from that. Sisanda Magala is the player of the match. He says that he kept it as simple as possible and it was just his day. He adds that he likes to bowl and it worked for him. Scott Edwards the skipper of Netherlands says that it was a good start but they couldn't build on that and 189 was always going to well below-par. Earlier in the game, the Netherlands were bundled out for a below-par total of 189 runs. Vikramjit Singh and Teja Nidamanuru were the only two batters who played well for them and scored 45 and 48 respectively. For South Africa, Tabraiz Shamsi and Sisanda Magala picked up three wickets each and were certainly the pick of the bowlers. Anrich Nortje picked two while Marco Jansen and Aiden Markram chipped in with one each.
The Netherlands struggled with the ball. They got an early wicket but just couldn't manage to get the South African skipper. Fred Klaassen and Aryan Dutt picked two wickets and those were the only two wickets they got in the game. They will be upset with their performance and will look to bounce back from this one.
Well, well, that was certainly one-way traffic in this game. South Africa have won it comprehensively with eight wickets in their bank. They started off slow and lost Quinton de Kock early on in the game. Rassie van der Dussen played a good cameo of 31 runs but was dismissed in the 19th over. Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram then made sure they get their team over the line. The former scored 86 runs while the latter scored 51 runs. The hosts are one step closer to direct qualification for the World cup now.

Right then, Netherlands have posted an under-par total here and will need to bowl their skins out to defend this. South Africa are coming here after a T20I series against West Indies where most of the batters enjoyed their time and scored runs freely which should give them more confidence of gunning this down with ease. Let's see how the chase unfolds in a bit.
South Africa will be happy with their bowling effort. They struggled a bit in the first Powerplay, but after that they got things under control and never looked like giving anything to the visitors. Sisanda Magala had a brilliant game as he ended up with three wickets while Tabraiz Shamsi also picked up three scalps. Anrich Nortje got two to his name, and Kagiso Rabada and Aiden Markram chipped on with one each.
Netherlands got off to a good start with stiching up a 58-run opening stand between Max O'Dowd and Vikramjit Singh with the latter being the aggressor. The former could not stick around for long after that, and Singh missed out on his fifty by five runs. After that they kept losing wickets at regular intervals with no batters contributing significantly except for Teja Nidamanuru who fought hard and scored a gritty 48 runs. They would be disappointed as they would have liked to get something near 250 runs with the start that they got, but now their bowlers will need to be at their absolute best to stop the hosts.
South Africa needed a good performance, and they have produced exactly that in the first half of this game. This is a crucial game for them, and their bowlers stepped up and restricted the Dutch to 189, which makes the job of their batters a bit easier, and they will be happy going into the break.

Temba Bavuma the skipper of South Africa says that it was a clinical performance. Adds that Dutch got to a good start but they always remained calm and waited for the mistakes and when the opportunity arises they grabbed it with both hands. Praises Tabraiz Shamsi for his performance and says that he is a match-winner and always try to give his best for the team. Mentions that in recent times he is enjoying his cricket and things falling into place and the team also gets a lot of confidence from that. Earlier in the game, the Netherlands were bundled out for a below-par total of 189 runs. Vikramjit Singh and Teja Nidamanuru were the only two batters who played well for them and scored 45 and 48 respectively. For South Africa, Tabraiz Shamsi and Sisanda Magala picked up three wickets each and were certainly the pick of the bowlers. Anrich Nortje picked two while Marco Jansen and Aiden Markram chipped in with one each.
The Netherlands struggled with the ball. They got an early wicket but just couldn't manage to get the South African skipper. Fred Klaassen and Aryan Dutt picked two wickets and those were the only two wickets they got in the game. They will be upset with their performance and will look to bounce back from this one.
Well, well, that was certainly one-way traffic in this game. South Africa have won it comprehensively with eight wickets in their bank. They started off slow and lost Quinton de Kock early on in the game. Rassie van der Dussen played a good cameo of 31 runs but was dismissed in the 19th over. Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram then made sure they get their team over the line. The former scored 86 runs while the latter scored 51 runs. The hosts are one step closer to direct qualification for the World cup now.
