Craig Ervine says he cannot explain how it feels. Adds the players deserve this for the effort. Shares he wanted Sikandar Raza to play that kind of innings. Reckons they are looking forward to the next round. On the crowd, the support has been special and hopes the support follows all over Australia.
Richie Berrington, the skipper of Scotland says it's disappointing and he feels they were 25-30 runs short. They failed to get the momentum with the bat. Adds they are proud for the performance and there are a lot of positives to take away.
Sikandar Raza, the leading run scorer of the tournamrnt is the Player of the Match. He first starts by applauding the way Scotland played. Adds they bowled well and he knew someone had to turn up with the bat. Shares it was humbling and emotional to win. Tells he told Ervine to bat through and take the team home. Applauds and credits the support Zimbabwe gets all over the world.
    ...Presentation coming up...
A spirited fight showed by Scotland. Their new ball bowlers bowled brilliantly but as the game went on, as the dew came in, the wicket became easier and bowling got tough. In the second half of the chase, they could not stick to their plans and the execution wasn't there too. However, Scotland just did not have enough runs on the board. Zimbabwe were brilliant with the ball, they set it up for them by restricting Scotland to a low score and later on, chased it well. George Munsey was the lone fighter with the bat for Scotland but it was not enough.
The chase though in the end was quite comprehensive but the start wasn't that great. They lost two for not a lot. Craig Ervine and Sean Williams then tried to build a stand but Williams fell. Scotland were back in the mix but the stand between Ervine and Sikandar Raza took the game away. They counter-attacked and turned the tide into the favor of their side. Both fell but Burl and Shumba ensured it is Scotland who are going to take the flight back home.
Zimbabwe it is! Zimbabwe is the last team to ensure they progress in this tournament. They are the last side to book their birth in the major event. A clinical show from them to seal the deal. Celebration time for them. For West Indies and Scotland, their World Cup journey comes to an end.

    COMMENTARY

    End of over

    SCO132/6 (20.0 Ovs)

We are back. Regis Chakabva and Craig Ervine to open for Zimbabwe. Brad Wheal to start with the ball.
    ...THE CHASE...
The Scotland innings just never got going! One can say, they crawled their way to 132! Munsey was the star with the bat for them yet again with a half ton but not at the pace he would have wanted. Whenever they looked to up the ante a wicket fell. In the end, in a cruch game, they will be disappointed with how they batted. They would have loved at least 15 more. However, the wicket is not the easiest and Scotland do have a good bowling attack. Zimbabwe on the other hand, will back themselves to chase this down. Who will go through? Join us in a bit to find out.
A very prefessional effort with the ball by Zimbabwe and they will be very happy with where they are in the game at the moment. Right from the word go, their players were up for this game. Their energy levels looked good and they also bowled brilliantly. They made run scoring tough for Scotland throughout and held almost all the chances that came their way. It was a combined effort from their bowlers. Yes, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani were a little expensive towards the end but overall, it was an outstanding performance from them.
    19.6

The well-set Munsey is out of here and now 140 looks far away. On the pads, Munsey whips it but uppishly. The ball goes towards deep square leg. It is dying on him. The throw is to the bowler as long on runs in and picks the ball up. Wesley Madhevere takes the bails off and appeals but replays show that he did not have the ball in hand. A life for Calum MacLeod. Can he make Zimbabwe pay for it.

DRINKS! Just as a partnership was starting to build, Zimbabwe strike and push Scotland onto the back foot again. The key for Zimbabwe is they are not letting Scotland find the boundaries easily and that is building pressure.  More of the same is what they will want. Scotland on the other hand, will want to change the moment and will hope George Munsey can do so. An interesting passage awaits.
    9.3

    ...Presentation coming up...
