COMMENTARY
Match drawn | Australia Vs West Indies Live Score 3rd Test match

That's it from us then. The cricket-sandwiched rains or the rain-marred Test ends in a disappointing draw. Had the play been possible on all five days, totally see 1 3-0 scoreline. Not to be and this ends a great consoling summer for the hosts. Modern West Indies sadly are a corollary of the delf-defeating Carribean theorem and they need to put the skates on to arrest the decline.
Smith receives the Frank Worrell Trophy and his teammates crowd around him for some photographs. Everything out there too disciplined to digest. And now the jibes begin. Laughs as the shutterbugs capture snaps for their dailies.
Smith: 'It's been a very good summer so far. Two Test series and winning 4 out of 6 Tests. Batters have scored 15 hundreds and bowlers managed 20 wickets on 4 occasions. It's been great fun. Guys are working hard. The cricket this summer has been satisfying and we want to adapt to conditions all round the world. The India ODIs should be good, they are a good side.'
Holder: 'We got better as the series went on. Slow start at Hobart. Bravo had a decent series for us. Brathwiate was good and Ramdin finished it well. We haven't played much international cricket and we have to be quick to adapt. Captaincy is hard work but I try to enjoy it. We can't be too disheartened and we have to move on. I want to thank Cricket Australia for the special preparations.'
Voges: 'Huge honor to win the inaugural Richie Benaud medal. I have been playing cricket for WA and it's been an amazing summer. Enjoying every minute of it. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and we have played a great summer. I don't have a choice in being the old man in the team. The team is in a transition and we have some challenges ahead. I enjoyed scoring at Hobart but runs at Perth against NZ is probably my favourite.'
Adam Voges has been named Man of the Series for plundering 375 runs. Gets the Richie Benaud medal.
Warner: 'No, not at all (if he realized it was SCG's fastest ton). Smith said out at the beginning that we're trying to get No. 1 in all formats. Trying to work out a technique against a swinging ball helped me score all the runs. I hope to keep playing positive cricket and carry the momentum to beat India in the ODI's.'
David Warner is Man of the Match for his crowd-enthralling 122 not out
Steve O'Keefe reckons that playing an SCG Test was a dream come true for him. Hazlewood sounds a little disappointed with this Test match - the rains and his individual performance. He says he is fatigued at the end of 6 Tests. Pink ball Test was significant for him and he is looking forward to lead a pack of emerging quick bowlers.
Shake of hands and the players trudge off the field. And the skies are teasingly blue to mark the end of this rain-marred Test. Curtains on another Australian Test summer at the SCG but an uncharacteristic grey cloud blanket and eventual incessant pitter-patter stole away the thunder. Individual performances though still managed to shine in the finale of this Richie Benaud series. Kraigg Brathwaite steeled his way to a fiesty statement-making 88 while Warner typically blazed away to SCG's fastest ever century. Lyon turned it a mile to help us relive the SCG of the pre-drop-in era. Hang on for the presentations..
End of over 38 ( 3 Runs )AUS 176/2 37.6Jomel Warrican to Peter Nevill. no run, slides across to his off-stump to get behind the line and blocks it off the bat's middle. And Smith has declared and that signalls the end of this Test match
37.5Jomel Warrican to Peter Nevill. 2 runs, turns away allowing Nevill to slap it to sweeper cover for a couple of runs
37.4Jomel Warrican to Peter Nevill. no run, flighted delivery outside off, Nevill presses forward and keeps it out
Bowling hasn't got better, Warner is just tired
37.3Jomel Warrican to David Warner. 1 run, makes room with an arch to the leg side and clips it to long-on
37.2Jomel Warrican to David Warner. no run, tossed up fullish, Warner pings it back
37.1Jomel Warrican to David Warner. no run, slower on middle, Warner gets forward in defence
And drinks are out for Nevill on the field too! Sun is back btw at the SCG
End of over 37 ( 1 Runs )AUS 173/2 36.6Kraigg Brathwaite to Peter Nevill. no run, this one's a slight push to mid-on. Much better than defending it when you're still playing it for crowd's sake
36.5Kraigg Brathwaite to Peter Nevill. no run, the defensive saga rolls on. Another defence middled. Another member in the crowd happy
