Shai Hope (W)c Mitchell Marsh b Ashton Agar 14 35 0 0 40
12.2
Ashton Agar to Shai Hope, OUT! TAKEN! That is a superb catch from Marsh! This really took off after landing! It is on off, behind a driving length. Hope looks to push at it but this spins off the surface, it hits the splice and lobs towards point. Marsh there dives to his left and takes a good low catch. All of a sudden, the Windies are in a spot of bother here.
Shimron Hetmyerb Josh Hazlewood 6 10 1 0 60
7.2
Josh Hazlewood to Shimron Hetmyer, OUT! Josh Hazlewood strikes and gets the first breakthrough! A good length ball outside off, the ball bounces a bit extra. Shimron Hetmyer hops and looks to push at it but gets an inside edge and it hits the stumps behind. Hetmyer is gutted with himself. He could have so easily left that. He went after it, played it away from his body and pays the price. Hazlewood is rewarded for his excellent bowling so far.
Darren Bravoc Josh Philippe b Ashton Agar 18 36 0 1 50
18.2
Ashton Agar to Darren Bravo, OUT! TAKEN! Bravo now departs! Agar gets his second. Really not sure if this was the right shot at the moment. Maybe his eyes just lit up with the ball being tossed up. It lands just outside off. Bravo looks to go over long on with the turn but the ball holds in the surface. He is through the shot and hence, it goes more off the outer half high up in the air towards cover-point where Josh Philippe takes an easy catch. Windies slip further.
Nicholas Pooranb Ashton Turner 3 7 0 0 42.86
13.6
Ashton Turner to Nicholas Pooran, OUT! TIMBER! That is a complete error in judgment by Pooran! A brain-fade one can say. Really not sure what he was doing there. This is tossed up nicely, it does drift back in from outside off. Lands just outside off and instead of turning away, goes on with the angle. Pooran probably felt it would turn away, puts in a big stride forward and lets it go. This one though hits the off stump as there is no turn. The hero of the last game walks back quickly. Windies in big trouble.
Kieron Pollard (C)c Ashton Turner b Mitchell Starc 11 24 0 1 45.83
22.1
Mitchell Starc to Kieron Pollard, OUT! CAUGHT! There is the big wicket Australia wanted! The Windies skipper walks back and he falls to Starc yet again. Really good change by Carey. We did feel this could be a good move and it does turn out to be a brilliant one. This is full and it is a cross-seam delivery which can be very effective on this surface and it is here. Pollard looks to drive but his mistake was he looked to drive on the up which is not a good idea on a wicket which is holding. It does stick in the surface, Pollard is through the shot, it goes uppishly to covers. Windies have half the side back in the hut now.
Jason Holderb Adam Zampa 5 15 1 0 33.33
23.5
Adam Zampa to Jason Holder, OUT! BOWLED! Another one bites the dust and the Windies are in dire straits now! Zampa tosses it up, with an angle on middle and leg, it lands and spins in. It seemed like the googly. Holder is too early looks to go downtown but seems early in the shot, it goes under his bat and clips the leg pole. The pressure of dots just got to Holder. He tried to break the shackles but falls in the process.
Alzarri Josephc Alex Carey b Josh Hazlewood 15 42 1 1 35.71
35.1
Josh Hazlewood to Alzarri Joseph, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Josh Hazlewood is back on and he strikes! This is what he does so well, just keeps hitting that length around off which most of the times, gives him a wicket. It is on off, Joseph looks to defend but does so inside the line. It goes off the outisde edge and the keeper does the rest. Joseph played well but he needed to go on.
Hayden Walshc Moises Henriques b Mitchell Starc 7 11 1 0 63.64
38.2
Mitchell Starc to Hayden Walsh, OUT! TAKEN! Walsh goes now and Starc has another! Once again a change in bowler has got a wicket. This is a poor shot from Walsh. Not sure what he was trying to do. It is on a length and around middle, Walsh looks to go big over mid off. Ends up hitting it high up in the air and the fielder there takes an easy catch.
Akeal Hoseinst Alex Carey b Adam Zampa 3 13 0 0 23.08
40.5
Adam Zampa to Akeal Hosein, OUT! STUMPED! Another one departs and the Windies are 9 down now! A full ball, a googly that lands on off and spins away. Hosein takes a big stride forward to push it but misses it. The ball sneaks through and the keeper collects it. He clips the bails off. Hosein had his feet in the air and that is superb work from Carey behind the sticks.
Sheldon Cottrellb Mitchell Starc 0 12 0 0 0
45.1
Mitchell Starc to Sheldon Cottrell, OUT! GOT HIM! Starc gets his third and the final wicket! Comes over the wicket and bowls a pacy full toss angling around off. Cottrell is too early for his push and the ball hits the stump. The off pole goes cart-wheeling behind. West Indies end at 152.

Josh Philippec Shai Hope b Alzarri Joseph 10 23 1 0 43.48
7.4
Alzarri Joseph to Josh Philippe, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Josh Philippe would have been wiser if he left that alone! A full ball angling way down the leg side. Josh Philippe is tempted to go for the whack but ends up getting an edge to the keeper who shuffles to his left and takes it cleanly. Australia are 2 down now and Windies believe.
Moises Henriqueslbw b Akeal Hosein 1 4 0 0 25
2.2
Akeal Hosein to Moises Henriques, OUT! LBW! This time Akeal Hosein strikes and the Windies get the early breakthrough they were looking for! Hosein serves a flatter ball, it drifts in and zips through after landing. Heriques misreads the length and goes back to a delivery he should be playing ahead to. Misses and gets hit on the pads. The Windies are once again already celebrating as they appeal and the finger is raised immediately. Perfect start for the hosts. Also, this is the third time in this series AK has got MH.
Alex Carey (C) (W)lbw b Hayden Walsh 35 50 3 0 70
20.1
Hayden Walsh to Alex Carey, OUT! LBW! The Windies needed this wicket so badly! A quicker tossed up ball, fuller and angling on middle and leg. Alex Carey goes for the sweep but misses and gets hit on the pads. Hayden Walsh appeals but the umpire says no. They go for the review straightaway. Ultra Edge shows no bat. Ball Tracker shows three reds and Carey has to walk back. A good innings from him but Windies now have a sniff.
Mitchell Marshc Shai Hope b Sheldon Cottrell 29 21 1 3 138.1
13.4
Sheldon Cottrell to Mitchell Marsh, OUT! GLOVED AND TAKEN! What was turning out to be a disastrous plan has worked out in the end. Yes, the short ball ploy has gone for plenty of runs but it has got the wicket they wanted. Australia still need 88 runs. This is short and on the body, Marsh looks to pull, it goes off the glove and the keeper leaps to his left and takes it.
