Liton Dasc Cephas Zhuwao b Tendai Chatara 4 14 0 0 28.57
5.1
T Chatara to L Das, OUT! Caught this time! Full and outside off, Das jumps down the track, aims to go over the top but the slow pitch does not allow the ball to come onto the bat properly. It takes the toe and and lobs wide of mid off. Cephas Zhuwao gets across to his left and takes a nice tumbling catch.
Imrul Kayesc Peter Moor b Kyle Jarvis 144 140 13 6 102.86
48.4
K Jarvis to I Kayes, OUT! Kayes departs at last! But he has done enough damage. Gets a rousing reception from the crowd. A length ball outside off, Kayes, backing away, reaches out to hit it over cover but finds Peter Moor running to his right to take that catch near the boundary. Jarvis is pumped up with his maiden 4-fer in ODIs. Kayes is asked to wait as the umpires want to check the no ball. But Jarvis is fine as per the replays. All the Zimbabwe players now walk across to Imrul and shake his hand. Terrific knock.
Fazle Mahmudc Brendan Taylor b Tendai Chatara 0 4 0 0 0
5.6
T Chatara to F Mahmud, OUT! What a catch! The debutant has come and gone. On a length outside off, Mahmud looks to defend but suddenly the ball bounces sharply and he has nowhere to go. Limply hangs his bat, tries to fend but the ball takes the outside edge. It flies over the slip cordon but Brendan Taylor leaps to his left, sticks out his glove and voila! it sticks!
Mushfiqur Rahim (W)c Brendan Taylor b Brandon Mavuta 15 20 1 0 75
14.6
B Mavuta to M Rahim, OUT! There is a big deflection and Rahim has to go! Good review from Taylor and Masakadza. A short ball, down the leg side, Mushfiqur went back to pull but missed. There was a noise as the ball went past the bat and Brendan Taylor immediately went up on the sound. Umpire Dharmasena though, shook his head. Taylor convinced his skipper to for the review and Snickometer showed a big deflection when the ball went past the glove. OUT! The stand is broken one short of 50.
Mohammad Mithunc Brendan Taylor b Kyle Jarvis 37 40 1 3 92.5
27.2
K Jarvis to M Mithun, OUT! Caught behind! The partnership is broken. 71 it was worth. Full and outside off, Mithun reaches out to drive but the ball moves away and takes the outside edge. Simple catch to Taylor behind. Fine knock by Mithun but he could have converted his start.
Mahmudullahc Brendan Taylor b Kyle Jarvis 0 4 0 0 0
27.6
K Jarvis to Mahmudullah, OUT! Two wickets in the over! Jarvis has brought Zimbabwe firing back into this contest. But a debatable decision. On a length outside off, Mahmudullah looks to defend but at the last moment, seems to be withdrawing his bat. There is a noise as the ball goes past and Jarvis appeals, with the umpire raising his finger. Mahmudullah immediately reviews and here comes the tricky part. Snickometer shows a spike when the ball passes the bat. But if you compare it with the sideways angle, it seems like the ball has passed the bat and the sound is of the bat hitting the pad. However, the benefit of doubt is given to the bowler, perhaps because the on-field umpire gave it out. Big, big decision. Could be the turning point in this game.
Mehidy Hasanc Brendan Taylor b Kyle Jarvis 1 4 0 0 25
29.3
K Jarvis to M Hasan, OUT! Third wicket for Jarvis in the space of 8 balls! This game has turned around suddenly. This is on a length outside off, Mehidy looks to cut but is too close to the ball. Ends up feathering it behind. 5th catch for Taylor already!
Mohammad Saifuddinc Brandon Mavuta b Tendai Chatara 50 69 3 1 72.46
49.1
T Chatara to M Saifuddin, OUT! A wicket on the first ball. A full toss outside off, Saifuddin looks to hit it over the top but cannot quite clear the man at long off. Brandon Mavuta takes it easily at the ropes and that ends Saifuddin's fine knock. Two wickets in quick succession for Zimbabwe but they have come 120 runs too late.

Hamilton Masakadza (C)run out (Imrul Kayes) 21 34 1 0 61.76
12.2
N Islam to H Masakadza, OUT! Superb piece of fielding and excellent bit of keeping! The Rahim-Kayes combination gets the better of Masakadza. Full and outside off, Hamilton reaches out and drives it through the covers. He takes the single and then calmly turns back for the second, totally unaware of what is happening behind him. However, Imrul Kayes, in spite of batting the whole of the first innings almost, hares to his left from long off, picks up the ball cleanly and in one motion, releases the ball. Now, comes the Rahim part. Because Imrul has returned the throw quickly, it is not accurate. It is somewhere 2-3 yards away from the stumps but Rahim is ready. He collects the throw, then dives full stretch and disturbs the stumps! The run out appeal is referred upstairs and skipper Masakadza is nearly a meter short! Losing the plot now, are the visiting side. They did not need this run out.
Cephas Zhuwaob Mustafizur Rahman 35 24 4 2 145.83
7.1
M Rahman to C Zhuwao, OUT! BOWLED! The off stump is gone cartwheeling! Well this is actually the first ball of the over, given that the previous one was a wide. The Fizz has made his presence felt. It is a length ball, just around off, Zhuwao looks to tuck it to the leg side but is done in completely. He misses and the ball knocks the off stump out. The crowd roars into life but in my opinion, Zhuwao has done his job. He has given Zimbabwe's middle order a breather with a quickfire knock. The visitors need 225 from 257 balls.
Brendan Taylor (W)b Nazmul Islam 5 13 0 0 38.46
10.4
N Islam to B Taylor, OUT! BOWLED! Taylor's poor run continues. And there comes the 'Naagin dance.' Landed around middle, Taylor comes forward to defend but the ball pitches, turns, beats the outside edge and then hits the top of off stump. Too good. Would have beaten even the best of batsmen. Zimbabwe in trouble now. They have lost 2 wickets for 11 runs in the space of 22 balls. 213 more needed from 236 balls.
Craig Ervineb Mehidy Hasan 24 48 1 0 50
25.1
M Hasan to C Ervine, OUT! BOWLED! Half the side is now back in the hut. Full and around off, Ervine stays back to defend. However, the ball pitches and then turns a bit away from the bat. Enough to hit the timber behind. Bangladesh are all over Zimbabwe now.
Sikandar Razab Nazmul Islam 7 22 0 0 31.82
20.6
N Islam to S Raza, OUT! BOWLED! The cobra spits again and Nazmul has his second. Almost identical to the way he got Taylor. Pitched around middle, only while Taylor came forward, Raza stayed back. He looked to push it to the off side but the ball spun away, missed the bat and hit the top of the bail over the off and middle stumps. Superb bowling. Massive wicket. Raza cannot quite make a memorable comeback. 184 more needed from 174 balls.
Sean Williamsnot out 50 58 5 1 86.21
Peter Moorlbw b Mehidy Hasan 26 45 2 1 57.78
35.4
M Hasan to P Moor, OUT! LBW! That ends the fight. Full and around middle, Moor gets down to sweep but misses. You cannot afford to miss straight balls. Is hit flush on the pads and umpire Dharmasena raises his finger immediately. Peter walks across to his partner for a chat regarding the review but is advised against it. Right call. Three reds on the Hawk Eye. Good innings by Moor but it was too much to do.
Donald Tiripanorun out (Fazle Mahmud) 2 4 0 0 50
36.3
M Mortaza to D Tiripano, OUT! Number 7 is down. Communication breakdown. On a length outside off, Tiripano watchfully defends it under his eyes to the off side. He sets off for a single and Williams responds. But then, the latter suddenly shouts 'NOOOOO!' Too late for Tiripano to put the brakes. He slips a bit, tries getting back but Fazle Mahmud comes charging in, picks up the ball and dives with an under-arm throw at the striker's end. Bull's eye. Tiripano gave it up pretty early.
Brandon Mavutac & b Mehidy Hasan 20 16 2 1 125
39.6
M Hasan to B Mavuta, OUT! Superb catch! Mehidy has his third. Full and outside off, Mavuta looks to drive it straight back but Mehidy dives to his left and takes a brilliant catch. Fine figures for the off spinner - 10-0-46-3.
Kyle Jarvisc Mushfiqur Rahim b Mahmudullah 37 33 3 2 112.12
48.4
Mahmudullah to K Jarvis, OUT! Have to visit the doctor tomorrow. That was a massive edge, as per the Snickometer. Outside off, Jarvis swings hard, attempting for a hat-trick of sixes but misses. Rahim collects but then appeals belatedly. The umpire gives it out immediately. Jarvis has a chat with Williams and then goes for the review. Well, surprise, surprise everyone. Massive spike. Nice partnership, not of much worth tonight, but Zimbabwe will hope it helps them in future.
