The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Saturday decided to disqualify Subir Ganguly as its joint-secretary.
Sourav Ganguly became the CAB secretary in 2014 and association president in 2015.
CAB also felicitated Manoj Tiwary and Ashoke Dinda with commemorative shawls, flowers, a plaque and a cheque of Rs 1 lakh.
The controversy has now transformed into an axe that fell upon the former Hyderabad star.
The CAB also accused the present office bearers of the BCCI of letting "no leaves unturned, to kill the talent of the state of Bihar and likewise states".
The CAB has also decided to build a task force to provide medical insurance to the women cricketers playing for Bengal at various levels, said the association's joint secretary Avishek Dalmiya.
