Indian junior-level cricketer Pranav Dhanawade, who made headline a couple of years ago after scoring sensational 1009 runs in school cricket, is again in the news.
Pranav Dhanawade was allegedly involved in a brawl with police, after he raised an objection to vacate a ground being used as helipad.
Scheduled to be played at Leicestershire, Dhanawade will make appearance in nine matches.
Dhanawade is now all set to play in the difficult English conditions as he is expected to play a total of nine games for Worli Cricket Club in Leicester in England.
On Tuesday, Arjun Tendulkar was selected for Under-16 West Zone over Pranav Dhanawade which was announced by Baroda Cricket Association.
The coach said that Pranav still has to cover a lot of ground and has a long way to go before making it to the next level.
Baroda Cricket Association on Tuesday announced a 15-man squad for the upcoming domestic tournament in which Arjun Tendulkar has been included but not Pranav Dhanawade.
When Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar got selected for West Zone’s Under-16 team a few days back, little he must have known that he will be dragged into an unwanted controversy.
A pacer, standing 4 feet 4 and aged 10 hasn’t forgiven his tormentor and recalling the incident, he spoke about a conversation he had with Pranav in the middle.
