Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement surprised me: Ramakant Achrekar

After hearing about Sachin Tendulkar's retirement, coach Ramakant Achrekar (81) is angry that because of illness he has not watched his most famous ward bat live at a stadium in many years. However, Achrekar’s daughter Kalpana Murkar said that  she is planning to take him to watch Tendulkar’s farewell Test if held in Mumbai. "He cannot walk. But he might go for atleast some time," she said. Tendulkar announced his retirement on Octoer 10 that his 200th Test would be his last.
