KKR-DC match abandoned due to poor outfield

The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Deccan Chargers (DC) at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday was abandoned without a ball being bowled after heavy rains, accompanied by thunderstorm, rendered the ground unplayable.
