Former India left-arm spinner Sunil Joshi on Monday was appointed as spin bowling coach of Punjab Kings ahead of the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
All the selectors were allowed to fly business class since 2013 till date.
Joshi and Singh will join Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh and Jatin Paranjape in the selection committee
The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) on Tuesday shortlisted five candidates for the Indian cricket team's national selectors' job.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal may not be the flavour of the season anymore but experts believe it is too early to write them off.
The former India spinner has worked with Bangladesh, Oman and USA among other teams.
Joshi expressed satisfaction at the way the spin trio of Shakib, Mehidy Hasan and Mossadek Hossain bowled to the Afghan batsmen.
Joshi feels that the players will take a long time to recover from the traumatic situation.
Joshi, who missed out on the 1999 World Cup as India opted for offspinner Nikhil Chopra, has been with the Tigers since August 2017 .
Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz have led Bangladesh's spin attack admirably in the absence of Shakib, feels the spin consultant.
