Paris: World number two Andy Murray once again produced a stirring fight back as he dismissed battling Frenchman Mathias Bourgue to progress through to the third round of the French Open at Roland Garros on Wednesday. The British maestro, who found himself two sets down, battled back to secure a 6-2, 2-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 win over his French opponent in a thrilling second-round encounter of the men’s singles event. Murray had earlier displayed a similar kind of performance in the opening clash against Czech Republic’s Radek Stepanek , having recovered from a two set down for the ninth time in his career. The second-seed will now face 27th seed Ivo Karlovic from Croatia for the quarter-final berth on Friday.
