Ashes 2013: Darren Lehmann positive after ‘even stevens’ first day

Australia coach Darren Lehmann feels Day One of the first Test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Wednesday was ‘even stevens’ and urged his batsmen to bat better on the second day of the Ashes Test match against England.

He also lauded the efforts of the bowlers are termed their effort ‘outstanding’ after they dismissed England for 215.

At the end of the first day, Australia were trailing the hosts by 140 runs with four wickets in hand.

Peter Siddle was the star for Australia bagging five wickets. James Pattinson too joined the party with three wickets to his credit.
