Mathews is upbeat and excited ahead of the clash at Sydney. Mathews says that Sri Lanka needs to play world-class Australian bowlers.

When asked whether he will promote himself up the order, he said the batting order needs to be flexible and Sri Lanka will play accordingly.

Mathews also speaks about David Warner and the latter's aggresive batting. The T20 captain says the wicket is slow at Syndey and they have to see what they need to do at the toss.

Earlier, top-order batsman Shaun Marsh was recalled to Australia’s Twenty20 side, joining others who impressed in the domestic Big Bash League to take on Sri Lanka later this month.
