Australia were 50 for three and 382 runs ahead of India at stumps on day three of the fourth Test at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.

 

Ricky Ponting was batting on one while captain Michael Clarke had made 9 by the close of the day's play.

 

India's Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets while Zaheer Khan took one.
