Faf du Plessis scored his maiden Test hundred on Monday against South Africa in the fifth day of the second Test at Adelaide.However, his knock wasn't chanceless. He got a reprieve when he was dropped by wicket-keeper Matthew Wade.

Together, Faf du Plessis, Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers played out almost 118 overs to take South Africa to a safe position against the hosts.

However, Kallis' brilliant knock when his inside edge was caught at silly point off Nathan Lyon's bowling.
