South Africa's batting mainstay Hashim Amla was dropped by Michael Hussey when he was batting on 108. It was a tough chance, but Australia needed a miraculous catch in order stop the South African run-flow.

Hashim Amla scored an uncharacteristic century on Day Three of the third test against Australia at the WACA, Perth on Sunday.

Amla was dismissed for 196 in only 221 balls. He took his chances as the South African batsmen attacked the Australians in the second innings.

South Africa were eventually bowled out for 569, setting a target of 632 for Australia to win in the third and the final Test at Perth.
