South Africa beat Australia by 309 runs on the forth day of the the third and final Test match at Perth on Monday to win the series 1-0.

In this video, Australia coach Micky Arthur talks to the press following the team's defeat and former skipper Ricky Ponting's retirement from Test cricket.

Ponting retired from Test cricket after the third Test bringing end to an illustrious 17-year career with Australia. He ended as the second highest run-getter in the longest format behind Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.
