The attacking opener came out and took the South African bowlers to the cleaners as he raced away to a 93-ball century.

He put on a 155-run stand with captain Michael Clarke for the fourth wicket as the duo scored at more than six runs an over.

His innings comprised of sixteen fours and four sixes and it took a beautiful delivery from Morne Morkel to finally send him back to the pavilion.
