Sri Lanka produced a brilliant performance on Sunday to beat Australia by eight wickets in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Adelaide. Lahiru Thirimanne scored an unbeaten century to guide Sri Lanka to its series levelling victory.

The visitors produced an inspired bowling performance to bundle out Australia for a modest 170. Australian skipper Michael Clarke returned to the one-day squad to lead Australia after a thrashing by Sri Lanka and an ear-bashing over selection policy from former stars.
