Michael “Mr Cricket" Hussey hit an unbeaten 115 in Australia's first innings onday two of the first Test against Sri Lanka on Saturday.
Hussey along with Clarke added 106 for the fifth wicket before Hussey and Matthew Wade (68 not out) shared an unbroken partnership of 146.
Hussey reached his 19th Test century and fourth for 2012, by smashing a pull shot on 96 to deep mid-wicket where Angelo Mathews fumbled the catch and watched the ball dribble over the rope for a four.
It was his fourth ton this year and his third this southern summer season.

Hussey's knock came off 184 balls with eight fours and a six.
Play was to be extended after a total of 130 minutes were lost to rain in two delays.
