Ben Stokes smashed a superb 164 for Durham against Nottinghamshire, and helped them in winning the match by 83 runs. Stokes’ knock consisted of 18 boundaries and six sixes, and Durham were 345 for seven when he fell in the last ball of the 49th over.

Stokes performance with the balls wasn’t as impressive, and he managed to pick just one wicket for 50 runs. However, it was the final wicket to fall for Nottinghamshire, who were all out for 270 in 46.1 overs.

James Taylor was the other centurion in the match, and his knock of 114 from 112 balls  for Nottinghamshire was filled with 10 boundaries and two sixes.
