Brad Haddin, the Australian wicket-keeper came out in defence of his teammate David Warner after the latter was fined 50 percent of his match fee following his spat with Rohit Sharma during Australia’s clash with India in the second One-Day International of the tri-series also involving England.

India have started the tournament on a dismal note, losing two of their two matches, one against Australia and England each. In their first match of the series against Australia, Rohit starred with a glorious 138 off 139 balls but got into an altercation with Warner. Warner was heard saying “Speak English”, in response to Sharma uttering something in Hindi. What Sharma said exactly remains unknown.
