McCullum scores epic 281 against India

Brendon McCullum’s magnificent double century in New Zealand’s second innings has given them command of the second Test against India in Wellington on February 17, 2014.

He was unbeaten on 281 at stumps on Day Four with James Neesham batting on 67.

BJ Watling was the only wicket to fall in the day for 124 runs. New Zealand are at 571 for six.

New Zealand skipper McCullum’s 281 not-out may have just tilted the game in his side’s favour.

McCullum who shared a record stand of 352 runs for the sixth wicket with BJ Watling (124) may have scored one of the most important knocks in New Zealand’s cricket history which may have just laid the foundation for the team to gain a superb come-from-behind win against India.
