Charlotte Edwards confident ahead of Ashes

England skipper Charlotte Edwards feels that Australia in their backyard will be a tough proposition.

“The summer was pretty special. To play against Pakistan and win there was special. And then to take on the Aussies in the Ashes was a pretty special moment as a captain. The support we got from the crowd was overwhelming,” she said.

“And then to win against West Indies was a special moment for us as a group.”

“We have given some really strong team performances as a unit. To look back we have some fond memories. It has been a great summer,” she added.
