A video of the Indian cricket fans praising the performance of the Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara after India's nine-wicket win over England in the first Test match at Ahmedabad at the Motera Stadium on Monday. The patient knock by Pujara, batting at No 3  in the first innings, has given a reason to the Indian fans to make a comparison with the Indian legend Rahul Dravid.

Pujara scored a brilliant double century in the first innings, which propelled India to a massive score of 521 runs in the first innings.

Pujara joined a rather elite bunch of 20 Indians to score a double century in Tests after his 206 not out against England in the first Test at Ahmedabad.

Doing so, Pujara scored his second hundred-plus total in only his ninth Test innings as he punished England’s hapless attack all around the Sardar Patel Stadium. His knock included 21 hits to the fence at a strike-rate of over 50.
