Saurasthra player Cheteshwar Pujara is all set to make a comeback to the Indian Test side after getting selected for the New Zealand series.

Pujara is said to be the ideal replacement for Indian batting legend Rahul Dravid, who retired from international cricket earlier this year.

Pujara suffered career-threatening injuries during Indian Premier League season and was out of competitive cricket for sometime. He had tore his ligament near his right knee.

However, he came back to lead India A at the West Indies. Despiet India A performing below par, Pujara was one of the positives which overshadowed the dismal tour.
