Sydney Sixers registered a comfortable victory over Highveld Lions on Thursday at Cape Town in the 2012 edition of Champions League.

Sydney won their third consecutive game as some disciplined bowling by Mitchell Starc, Shane Watson, Josh Hazlewood and Moises Henriques restricted the South African team to 137 in their allotted 20 overs.

Both the sides had two wins each before coming into this contest and with three wins in as many matches has ensured Sydney a place in the last-four stage of the tournament.

Lions, the local outfit, still have a match against qualifiers Yorkshire at their disposal on Saturday to claim the other semifinal berth from Group B.
