Number ten Bangladesh batsman Abul Hasan notched a debut century to help Bangladesh recover to 365-8 on the opening day of the second and final Test against the West Indies in Khulna on Wednesday.

Hasan ended unbeaten on 100 after adding an invaluable 172 with Mohammad Mahmudullah (72) to help the home team, which won the toss, fight back from a shaky 193-8.

Hasan became the second player in the history of cricket to score a century on debut as a number ten batsman.
