Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday said that the calls for BCCI chief N Srinivasan's resignation is completely orchestrated from the underworld in Dubai.

BCCI President N Srinivasan's rivals were said to be plotting a strategy to seek his ouster even as he remained defiant rejecting demands for his resignation in the wake of the arrest of his son-in-law and CSK team owner Gurunath Meiyappan on betting charges.

He also added that in a free world it is unfair to blame an individual for the actions of his relative. Swamy was referring to Gurunath Meiyappan, son-in-law of Srinivasan who was arrested by Mumbai police for his alleged involvement in betting.
