Ed Cowan says cricket is a result driven business

After calling the gentlemen's game a result driven business, Australian batsman Ed Cowan explained, results and consistent performance are the attributes required for a player to cement his place in the team.

Cowan also backed Shane Watson to lead Australia in the fourth and final Test against India starting on Friday if skipper Michael Clarke is unfit and also hoped the team would bounce back after three consecutive defeats.
