England under the captaincy of Eoin Morgan have looked very confident and fresh. In the ongoing tri-series in Australia, England beat India in the first match and held Australia to the last over before conceding victory.

According to Morgan, “The guys (England) are really looking forward to it (the match against India at Perth).” The match between India and England will be an exciting affair as the team that wins will head into the finals against Australia. “The opportunity to play in the final, given that we get past India tomorrow (January 30th) and face Australia in the final is huge,” said Morgan.

He admitted that beating India would not be a cake walk as they have “match winners, a lot of experience and some young exciting players. We’ll have to focus on adapting to the conditions as that will be crucial.”

England’s success over the next to months relies on their ability to “break everything down into its simplest form and taking each ball as it comes,” according to Morgan.
